Nous avons mis 2h pour visiter ce bateau. L'audio guide est bien fait. On peut voir les différentes pièces qui étaient à disposition de la famille royale. Celles-ci sont toujours meublées avec des photos. On a également accès aux pièces réservées à l'équipage, ainsi qu'à la buanderie, la salle des machines, la cuisine. Très beau site.

I would highly recommend a visit. Beautifully maintained with an excellent audio tour around different levels. Very friendly staff and a lovely tea room on the top deck with fabulous views.

Loved it! It was wonderful to look around and see where the Queen slept. We had lunch in the cafe and the food was delicious" very small cost for a wonderful afternoon.

Loved, loved, loved it. I'm a fan of the royals anyway and to see a glimpse into their world was fab. There's an audio tour all the way around, explaining every aspect of the yacht. Engineering at its very best. Totally worth a visit.

A really lovely experience - especially if you are a fan of the late Queen. You get to see the State rooms and Royal family’s private rooms as well as below deck the crew quarters. A lot of history. Absolutely fascinating. Audio tour is excellent.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable day. It must’ve been delightful when it was a seagoing vessel. Very interesting and loved all the rooms, the items in each room and learning where Royals, guests and ship’s crew lived whilst at sea. Definitely recommend a visit

Indeed, by stepping on board The Royal Yacht Britannia, visitors can immerse themselves in 44 years of Royal history, discovering how the Royal Family and crew of Royal Yachtsmen lived while travelling the globe by sea. It is kind of you to recommend a visit to Britannia to others.

This is an amazing tourist attraction and worth every penny. Fantastic free audio guide and extremely helpful staff on duty. A must see, loved every minute.

We visited here on the 14th as we got off the sight seeing edinburgh bus getting a 10% discount on entry we were told we could get on the ship as its disabled friendly with staff on hand to help, ( number 17/18 ) we looked at no staff, we decided to go for a cuppa and a bite but no staff to help, and the lift didn't work , so couldn't enjoy the menu, after getting stuck afew times, I'd had enough stayed fir 20 minutes and came away shopping in the shop and went to Costa for a boring cuppa and a bite, not exactly what I'd like but what we bought, as that day was cold and snowing never again, it clearly states disabled friend and staff on hand to help there wasn't anyone on this floor, and it's not a cheap

Not sure that I will have time for a tour during the day on my next visit. Is it possible to view from the pier during the evening hours? Would we be able to walk alongside the dock for close viewing?

I would imagine it would be a bit difficult to view the Yacht without paying as you are directed through the Shopping Centre and then onto the Tour.
Maybe you could get a view of it from the water by boat or from the opposite side of the water.but think you may be disappointed with that option.

Britannia is easily accessible by bus with numbers 11, 22 and 35 travelling from the city centre for £1.80 each way for adults (correct change needed or use contactless) and 90p for children (correct change needed). E-tickets for the buses can also be purchased by card via the Lothian Bus M-Tickets app.
