Used the Bright hop on/off tour company
£18 pp for 2 tours, City and Brittania, which was great value and can be used for up to 48 hours.
A special mention for Graham who was a great help even retreaving my specs which I left on the bus while rushing to get off to visit the Scottish Museum.
City tour on the first day which was interesting and very informative.
Brittania on the second day, slight confusion about the times of the tour, but apart from that another lovely tour of the city with a stop off at the Royal Yacht Brittania
All in all I would thoroughly recommend Bright Tours and thanks again Graham

Great way to explore Edinburgh for first time visitors

Very nice tours. We bought a Grand ticket that takes you on three different tours. We especially recommend the green one with live commentary. Our guide Tom knew everything there was to know about Edinburgh, and had a great sense of humour.

Easy and inexpensive overview of the city

Reliable hop-on-off self guided tour. A nice way to get a feel for the city and hop of when you want. Edinburgh proper is not very big, so this was a great start to our visit.

Great way to see all the sights

We did the Edinburgh Hop on, Hop off bus tour on our last morning, before going to catch the train. If this is your first visit, it’s well worth doing as you can see all the major attractions in about an hour. There are several companies running these tours, they all start from the same place , near to Edinburgh Waverley Station. We prefer the your with a live commentary, and one of the tours also includes a boat trip - you can even buy a combined ticket and try them all!

Geweldige manier om de stad te verkennen. Er zijn 3 tours met 3 verschillende bussen (kleuren) die je kan nemen en daarmee verken je de volledige stad met al zijn bezienswaardigheden. De grote tour gaat zelfs naar de haven waar het schip Brittannia ligt. Er is een bus met live gids die gepassioneerd vertelt over de stad. Wij hadden geluk nog even van een echte Schot de uitleg te krijgen, dus goed luisteren was de boodschap. Op de andere 2 bussen krijg je uitleg via gratis oortjes. Aanrader. Overal op straat staan er stewards die je kaartjes kunnen verkopen voor die bussen ofwel koop je die in het loket op de brug.

Excellent value - great tours

Booked the 48 hr tkt for all three routes. Was able to not only visit all the important sites but also used the buses to get around the city within the same price. Was able to tour botanical gardens, quaint boutiques of Stockbridge, the royal yacht, princes street & the iconic castle. The grass market stop was especially useful as it is at the base of “diagonal alley” for all potter fans

Myself and my husband Jim visited Edinburgh in March 2023 purchased the 48 hour Majestic tour to enable us make the most of our time .We found every member of the team so helpful and friendly ,and got great advice as how to make the best use of our ticket.As the majestic ticket included entry to the castle ,Royal yacht Britannia and the palace of Holyrood ,this was excellent value.We would definitely recommend the majestic tour .

traveled to Edinburgh for the day on 06 02 2023 decided to take trip on majestic tour hop on hop off when buying tickets told pick up places where every 30 minutes but we had to wait at one stop for 1 hour and35 minutes I don't think this was unacceptable as we where both over 73 years old standing in the cold we were given false information when sold tickets when arrived back spoke to person who sold us the tour but he was very professional just walked away people need to becarfull using this company

Great few days in Edinburgh

I went with 2 of my Friends to Edinburgh. It was their first time visiting the City. We chose the live guide tour. Delighted to meet Holly Walsh our Tour Guide who comes from Cork Ireland where we live. Holly was a brilliant charming Lady and we all enjoyed our tour of the City. We brought the 48h hour Royal Edinburgh Ticket, which gave us entry into Edinburgh castle, Royal yacht Britannia and Palace of Holyroodhouse, and three different bus routes to go on, all have been excellent, drivers very helpful, the live commentary highlighted interesting local information, special thankyou to Tammie who sold us our tickets in St Andrews square, highlight the benefits of the ticket in such a professional and friendly manner, she is a true asset to your company.
