This is a very special experience - and if you are looking for quality Scottish made souvenirs a must do experience. It’s a little ways outside the cbd but well worth the trip. A train stop is nearby direct from/to the central station which is a real alternative to a taxi.
The items are drawn from artisans across Scotland and draws together items that you would otherwise not be able to source. The owner has strong collective values and one can tell there is a real pride and warmth in the business relationship. A real Pride of Scotland!
Well run - well priced - and well worth the visit.

Always very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I brought my niece from Australia last year and she was gifted a Sunshine No1 pencil. Every time I visit there's something new to see. Love the candles especially 😊

Beautiful little shop. Fabulous range of products with a lovely ethos - all Scottish producers/products produced in Scotland. Definitely a must if you’re looking for gifts.

I like to shop local and shop independent. This place isn’t local, 300 miles from me but the stuff is all so lovely. I placed my order on the website late on a Friday night and the parcel arrived first thing Wednesday morning. I ordered shampoo bars which both smell amazing and work a treat. I ordered a couple of diaries as presents, they’re stunning and environmentally friendly.
The soaps and other bits I got as gifts for people but I really wanted to keep everything for myself.
The website has a great choice and I will happily shop here again. Suzi is working hard and created a lovely selection of items, I was spoilt for choice. Great place for gifts for someone or for yourself 😀

Such a brilliant shop; there's something unique for anybody in here. All local artists too, and very reasonably priced. The only problem is that when the person receives the gift they have to ask where it came from, so you need to be sure you don't buy them something they've already bought for themselves next time.

A great shop in the lovely area of Mount Florida of Glasgow. Sunshine No 1 has a great range of gifts, home wear & cards etc for every occasion, all made by Scottish craft businesses.
A lovely welcome & loads of information on all purchases on hand by Suzi, owner of the shop.
Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something special for you or a friend!

This is a bright and welcoming treasure trove of a shop - despite being fairly small, there are a huge range of fabulous items of all kinds. These are mainly created within a few miles of the store, are hand crafted and include:

Cards - gorgeous, funny and unique cards

Midgie balm - super important for visitors in summer to reduce the bites of the tiniest flies you always find somewhere!

Full of a range of gifts and cards at a range of prices. I regularly buy cute jewellery items, scarves, cards and midgie balm (!) but there are lovely ceramics, plants, prints and baby clothing that I'm just waiting for an excuse to buy. The owner is lovely and friendly and will tell you who made each item and where they are based. She also gift wraps free of charge which can be very handy for those last minute panics. This shop is now my first port of call whenever I need a gift.
