the driver took me home after i became unwell in Fort William, the car was clean and comfortable and the driver was excellent with good customer service skills - impressed - thankyou

We needed to travel from Fort William to Oban on a Sunday. There were no buses and the trains were on strike!
So the idea of an electric car (our first ride in one) seemed a great option.
Philippe picked us up crom our hotel, arriving early (+++), and gave us a very food ride, pointing out various things on the way.
It was excellent, and we were glad that the trains and buses made us do this

We took an elecar taxi drive from Fort William to the Upper Ben Nevis Car Park where the walking trail for Steall Falls starts. As neither me nor my partner drive, we were so happy that we could go to the starting point of this trail by taxi. We also ordered the taxi drive back on the same day.
Our driver was very friendly and chatty, he was absolutely on time on the return journey as well. :)
A very clean taxi and very friendly service, thanks again. :) Also, our driver suggested a few other walks for us for the coming days, so we followed his local advice and we wend on the Cow Hill Curcuit walking trail next day.

We used them several times during our stay in Fort William.
They always arrived before time, the cars were immaculate and the drivers polite and helpful.
Plus of course you can get to ride in a Tesla.
All cars are electric so you are helping the environment as well.

I used Elecar twice during my stay. Once to get me from GLA to Fort William, the later from Fort William to Oban.
Our driver, Phillipe was exceptional. On time and early, knowledgeable, and had good sense as to when we wanted to talk, and when we wanted to snooze.
Beautiful electric cars. I recommend them highly.

We hired Scott and his Telsa Model S for a days guided tour. Scott made plenty of suggestions as to an itinerary before the day and on the day modified our route according to our wishes at the time. He was a good guide, we enjoyed the demonstrations of his car (he is clearly an enthusiast and has converted us to electric cars!) and it's capabilities. His commentary and the information he gave on our 180 mile circuit were really interesting and contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable adventure. At the end of an enjoyable day he dropped us off at his recommended restaurant, where we had the best meal in our week at Fort William before picking us up again and dropping us tired and full back at our guest house. Next time we go to Fort William we will use Elecar.

Elecar Taxi's are the taxi firm I use whenever I can. Both the drivers are men who are totally lovely. AND they've just bought a new car! This car has EVERYTHING you could want in a car! It has a map of everywhere IN THE WORLD in it! You can follow your route while in the cab. And both of these guys are proper gentlemen. One can do magic! (He's shown me LOADS of tricks he can do!) Anyway, I recommend this firm to anybody who needs a reliable lift.

ScotRail somehow managed to book us on a train that did not exist (“it’s a computer problem”), so we opted to use Elecar to get from Ft. William to Edinburgh. It was said to be much faster, anyway. The driver George appeared 10 minutes early at our hotel, which suited us just fine. The car was a brand-new Tesla S. George loaded our bags without having to be asked – another good sign. George was courteous and careful, but still got us to our destination in downtown Edinburgh in a timely fashion, and with only one minor course-correction (thanks to the convoluted downtown-Edinburgh streets).
The ride was scenic, and was worth the price so that we did not need to do the driving ourselves (especially in Edinburgh!).
We make our usual statement, as with all our 5-star reviews, that we have no personal or financial ties to this establishment.

Whenever I have to get a taxi, I do try to look for one of the two taxis run by Elecar. This is for a lot of reasons! The first is, the drivers! They are both absolute gentlemen who treat you just perfectly. They do seem to go out of their way to help you. Their names are Scott and George. I've been invited to George's house as well! George and his girlfriend are both lovely people.
The second reason is because neither of the cars actually has any emissions. Because they're electric cars.
The third reason is that I can pay for my journey with a card. This is something that a lot of taxis don't do.
To summarize, well done, Elecars!

Incredible, my friend and i are travellers from canada and we needed a lift to fort william and Scott from Elecar was there for us. The car is lovely and clean and Scott himself is a really friendly and funny guy. Within minutes we were all laughing and having a grand time! What's more than the atmosphere we felt was the knowledge that this was an electric car! It had no drawbacks in terms of speed or comfortably and it was sublimely quiet. It was also really interesting talking to Scott about the whole electric car thing, he was knowledgeable about it all. Highly recommend if for a short lift or a real ride!
