Lovely but expensive

Nice day out however expensive! £60 for 4 people and no family ticket option. Never been to a farm park where the adults are charged more than the kids. We did pay it as we promised the kids and we’re on a caravan nearish but almost died when we went online. Families on a tighter budget are priced out.

It was a good day though and the kids had fun, lots to do and see the park areas were good. We made sure we stayed all day and just took our time in each area. Lots of extra things to buy once inside food, quads, boats, water fight etc etc. the price kind of mounted up.
Staff were lovely, could use staff on the grass slide as it was a free for all and it took ages to grab a ring! The small animal barn was absolutely stinking l!

All in all a lovely but very very expensive day out.

Fantastic day out

We visited today with our two granddaughters 6 & 9 yrs
Family ticket cost £60
What a great day,its expanded again since our last visit with so much to see & do..its huge.
We had lunch in the Stonehouse restaurant, which was fresh,tasty with large portions & not expensive. Girls really enjoyed making up their own Kids lunch box ,
Lots of picnic areas & other cafes around the park
All staff friendly
Great to see this outdoor attraction plough money back into it to provide more facilities for the paying customer
Bonus for everyone is only a handful of extra attractions to pay for around the park..ours was lunch, ice cream & animal feed,we didn't use quads or water boats
you really don't feel like your hands in your pocket all the time
Also has large indoor adventure play

Superb from start to finish

Visited this wonderful location that caters for all ages. Had lunch and it was terrific. Great portions. Menu is varied and suitable for all tastes. Had the pleasure to meet the following superstars Lana, Shelbilicious, Hilary, Ryan, Rochelle, Denise, Arlene and Sarah. All are great ambassadors for the company. They were so friendly and attentive during our visit. Definitely a great place to visit when in the area. Will be back for sure.

If you only do one day out this Summer,,,,

Went as a family of four but were meeting up with friends and their kids. We were there for doors opening and had a full day there , leaving just before shutting to try beat any traffic. The kids had a great time, and so did the adults, the bouncy pillows and the zip slides were particularly enjoyable. It was around Easter and was a lovely sunny day. We did spend a bit of time in the Young McDonalds farm area, just to keep out of the sun for a while, Really good day out for all :-)

Amazing!

My sister surprised myself and my 22 month old son by taking us here. What a fabulous place, lots of things to do and see. All the animals are well cared for and lots of information about the animals. The kids play areas are fabulous, we had lunch in the Stonehouse- beautiful food and really good portions. The staff were amazing, my son had a wee fall and banged his head. They were so kind and gave us an ice pack and were so caring. I cannot recommend this enough, I will be back many times over the oncoming years as this is a brilliant family day out. Thank you

Simply too expensive

£45 for two adults and a two year old, already started badly.
Once your in there seems to be a constant need to put your hand in your pocket for other attractions. (Trains, boats, bumper cars to name some)

If you look at the play park and slides, at peak times they are simply not big enough to accommodate the amount of kids.

There are better things to do in Ayr.

A full day of entertainment for all the family

Wonderful day out. Lots of animals for all the family to enjoy. Excellent outdoor play areas. Indoor soft play for the tots and when the weather turns. Would highly recommend it to people of all ages

Expensive day out

I was very much looking forward to visiting Heads of Ayr farm after reading all the great reviews. 3 adults and 2 children was nearly £80 and yet they still charge you extra for things inside the park which is disappointing. It’s not a lot of money but after spending almost £80 you’d expect everything to be included. You’d easily spend £100 here in a day.

Wonderful even out of season

It was out of season so we were unable to enter the park itself. However, the lovely big cafe was open and we sat in front of a roaring fire eating delicious cake and sipping mugs of tea. Big selection of food and drinks and all the staff were really friendly and welcoming. A very clean and spacious environment and along the one wall are viewing windows and you can see marmosets and tamarinds. There were posters with adverts for themed events aimed at children. I can't wait to go again when it's fully open.
