During a family trip to Sri Lanka, we were lucky to have Madu as our driver and guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, has a strong work ethic, and is passionate about his job. We really enjoyed his company and look forward to seeing other parts of Sri Lanka with him in the future!

Took a one week trip with family, with Madu as driver and guide. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was completely professional, very passionate about Sri Lanka, and always ensured that we were comfortable. Very often, he went out of his way to help us. As a place, Sri Lanka is fantastic, and extremely safe for tourists. However, a good guide is important for an efficiently planned trip, and I highly recommend Madu to anyone who wants to visit. You will return to your home country feeling happy and also having made one new friend :)

My wife and I had Madu as our driver/tour guide for 10 days around Sri Lanka and we cannot thank him enough. Friendly and knowledgable throughout the tour. We would highly recommend anyone to visit Sri Lanka and have Madu be your guide.

We had the chance to travel this amazing country in August.
First of all, I have to say that the country is simply awesome. Great culture, friendly people and good food, all mixed up in stunning landscape and nature.
We travelled from Colombo to Ella and then back with our Driver Madu.
He has been just perfect! Great communication skills, very kind and nice, ready to help in every situation. Always on time and super with the recommendations.
The trip wouldn’t have been the same without him!
Thank you Madu for this amazing experience!

I have visited Sri Lanka with my girlfriend and an other couple which we are very friends with.
After having met Madu at the airport we instantly understood we were going to get along perfectly. We started travelling around the iseland (Sigirya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya etc.). I can only say that Madu has always been very helpful in helping us finding the best restaurants and suggest THE best activities which we could not easily discover otherwise.
I definitely recommend Madu as driver as he shortly became part of the group and brought an added value to the whole trip.

I have just completed 1 week of touring Sri Lanka with Madu.
I found him to extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his homeland. He tailored the trip to suit my needs perfectly.
Not only is he professional and knowledgable he has a great sense of humour. He made the trip fantastic with his dry wit and awesome humour.
Madu has many contacts all around Sri Lanka so you can rest assured that he will take care of your needs, no matter what they are.
I plan to visit again soon and I will defiantly go with Machan Madu.

Nous avons séjourné au Sri Lanka en famille avec nos deux enfants (10 et 15 ans). Dés que les portes de sortie de l'aéroport de Colombo se sont ouvertes, j'ai immédiatement repéré Madu. Il brandissait un panneau avec mon prénom mais je n'oublierai jamais l'immense sourire qui illuminait son visage, et dés cet instant, j'ai su que nos vacances seraient réussies.
La suite m'a donné raison. Madu s'est mis en quatre pour nous permettre de passer un séjour de rêve sur son ile magique. Il a organisé au pied levé deux safari qui nous ont permis de voir des troupeaux d'éléphants en liberté et de séjourner à Yala pour un safari à la rencontre des leopards. Il nous a trouvé un hébergement inoubliable en lodge/tente, avec des éléphants qui déambulaient dans les allées de l'hotel, en toute quiétude. Ces images ont été magiques pour toute la famille. Madu nous a mis sur pied en quelques minutes une demi journée de découverte de la mangrove en barque, près de Bentota, avec des rencontres à couper le souffle (varants, crocodiles, serpents) dans un paysage fantastique. Nous avons sillonné le pays dans son van toujours propre. Il est un excellent conducteur dans ce pays où la conduite s'apparente plus à un rallye automobile qu'une visite tranquille. Nous avons découvert les paysages époustouflants de la région de Kandy, Nurelia, la route du thé avec ses montagnes impressionnantes, ses maisons colorées et ses étals de légumes inoubliables. Grâce à Madu, nous avons pu aller à la rencontre des Sri Lankais et découvrir leur gentillesse.
Nous avons partagé ces 15 jours de rêve avec Madu, toujours heureux, souriant, ponctuel, calme. Il nous a beaucoup appris sur l'histoire de son pays, sa culture.
A notre départ, il nous a accompagné à l'aéroport, et la séparation fut très difficile. Nous avions le coeur déchiré de le quitter, ma femme, mes enfants et moi avons tous pleuré. Madu aussi avait les larmes aux yeux.
Nous avons rencontré une très belle personne, un ami. Nous espérons le retrouver un jour et encourageons tous ceux qui cherchent un chauffeur guide à faire appel à lui, ils ne le regretteront pas.

We travelled to Sri Lanka in December 18. We were a group of two couples and spent around 9 days criss crossing the beautiful island country. Madhu was throughout with us right from pick up to drop off at the airport and we could not have asked for a better driver cum guide. He has excellent driving skills can speak good English and a bit Hindi too and also knows all the places in depth. He is punctual calm and always has a smile on his face. Very strongly recommended for exploring Sri Lanka.

Just completed a two week tour Sri Lanka driving 1000s of miles and visiting ten different stops along the way and our tour guide/driver was superb.
When discovering that’s our Sri Lankan friend could not travel, we felt in lobo in-terms of what to expect and how we would enjoy the holiday to the fullest.
From the time being picked up from the airport till the end Madu from the start made this a holiday of a life time. He drove us quickly and safely around the island, his driving skills was amazing and safely mastered the crazy island traffic and had amazing communication skills, was always on time and knowledgable on the tourist sites.
He even allowed us to make changes to the itinerary without questioning and offered advice on alternative destinations.
He also had an amazing sense of humour, could couldn’t have asked for such an amazing driver and would definitely use these driving services again.
Highly recommendable!

As this was my first time going to Sri Lanka, I wasn’t too sure what to expect. However my experience due to our driver Madu, was a great one. Madu was friendly, knowledgable, and his communication was superb. As we were intrigued about certain things, we would ask many questions and Madu was able
to answer them, along with good advice that added positivity to our experiences of Sri Lanka.
