We are touring Scotland in a motorhome and arrived in Aberfoyle heading north to do the NC500. We called into the information centre and got an immediate friendly welcome from the staff. We were looking for information on a tourist route and where we could stop for the night, the young lady (sorry forgot her name) that helped us had a fast amount of knowledge on the local area and beyond. We left the I centre with maps and all the information we needed, and had a fantastic trip though the Achray Forest on the 'Three locks forest drive'. Thank you for your help and we will be calling in to another I centre on our travels.

This was where we headed when we arrived in the area.
We were lucky as a very nice lady came to our assistance as soon as we walked in the door.
She was terrific and spent a lot of time finding out what we hoped to do and then giving us the right brochures.
There is a lot of info in this place so get there before you do anything.
The lady put us onto a walk from town to see a lovely waterfall, we did that straight away, very nice

My husband and I always visit iCentres in Scotland whenever we're near one. This one is a particularly good one. It's full of friendly, knowledgeable people who are very generous with their time and traveler information.

Excellent! We came in to ask for some advice and Sara was super helpful! On top of it, she speaks French, this was much appreciated. She gave us some touristic places to visit between Aberfoyle and Glencoe (Lodge, the 3 Lodge forest drive and the Loch Katrin). Thanks Sara :)

The people at the information centre in Aberfoyle were so friendly. Colin McCrae gave me great information on walks through some stunning forests & I even saw red Squirrels. I have had the best day!! Thank you!!!!

60 miles. Motorway to Stirling then country road to Aberfoyle. Takes 1 hour 20 mins. Public transport - Train to Stirling then Bus but have not done this.
