beautiful local woolens, just wish I had bought more, helpful free shipping back home if over 75 euro's, much better prices than in Dublin

We were not sure if we could get to the Aran Islands due to rough seas and stopped into the Woolen Market in Ennis. We were glad that we did as they had a full offering of woolen ponchos, scarves and wraps, sweaters, etc. My wife got a lovely cabled sweater made of fine Marino wool as well as a hand-loomed wrap. I would have gotten an Aran sweater, but found them too heavy to wear in the S.E. United States where we have retired to. However, I must admit that they were truly works of art and gorgeous. The staff was extremely helpful in explaining everything to to us regarding quality and where each item was made. While I didn't purchase anything for myself, the visit was very educational.

In the west of Ireland, the tourist capital, I expect to meet Irish people in businesses. It was shocking to find this premises manned by two foreigners - who spoke to each other in their language. That left me, the customer completely sidelined. Not acceptable. Not acceptable at all.
The shop was pokey and had small corners here and there.

The shop was great and the staff helpful. Nicest part was them packaging my purchase up and posting it home to the states for me.

Visited the Woollen Market in Liscannor. Lovely store, great and helpful staff. Found some patterns and styles we had not seen before! Just great and a very cool town too. Close to Cliffs and Pubs.

After shopping for several items around Ireland, we found the best prices and selection at the Woollen Market! The service was also great and they provided easy shipping and de-tax. I may order more from them!

I purchased two children's sweaters from you and the label states "dry clean only". I am wondering if a cold water hand washing agent like woolite would be okay also.
