We were here for the wonderful Book Festival, and it was great to be part of it! A fantastic group of writers, interviewers journalists and interested readers made this a stimulating and moving occasion. Well done to all involved in organising it!

Fantastic place in ennis for entertainment. Always some sort of music, dance, arts, performances happening. Lots of stages and theatres. Food & drink on site. Well worth attending a show here

Glor is the Irish music / entertainment concert venue in County Clare. Boasting top name performers like Martin Hayes, Glor is a great place to catch music without the clamber of a pub setting.
Because the coffee shop is open even when concerts and performances are not being held, it’s a great meeting up place for locals and tourists a like. Prices are reasonable and service is generally quick.
The free WiFi is a real plus for travelers . You can sit either in the cafe or in the lounge/ lobby area and uninterruptedly work away on your social media posts and emails.

We had the good fortune to attend a Martin Hayes concert here during the Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan in July. Glor is an easy walk from the town center in Ennis and is in a pretty setting. The venue itself is intimate with plenty of leg room and good acoustics, making for total enjoyment.

There is a program of shows to suit all tastes. the auditorium is an amphitheater and sound is just great.

We have attended Glor concerts during 3 Fleadh Nua events and werer just there for the great show by Socks in the Frying Pan. Glor is comfy and yet a very professional concert venue with full bar in the lobby.

Just popped in for a takeaway coffee and it has to be the worst coffee I've ever tasted.
Didn't try it till I was halfway home so couldn't be bothered to turn around and go back.
Please don't insult your taste buds with this awful excuse for a beverage.
Also asked for skimmed milk and watch the barista use full fat. Doh

観光案内所で行き方を教えてもらったのですが、建物が立派すぎて通り過ぎてしまいました。ケルトから連なるアイルランド音楽の歴史などをパネル等で展示しています。夏休みだったからか家族連れが多かったです。コンサートは別料金ですが、一般展示は無料で入れます。恐らく、国立の施設です。
ドライブのお供にケルト音楽のＣＤをダビングしたものを持っていきましたが、どことなく哀愁を帯びた旋律がアイルランドの風景によく合っていました。
