Tony was the best! He made our experience so much fun. He was very knowledgable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. I couldn’t imagine the trip without him.

We had a 8 day customized itinerary with the Butler's tour company for 14 guests. I discovered this company from other various review sites and if you are interested in a private tour this is the company to go with. They also offer set trips, if you are unsure.
I emailed the company to start our inquiry and Martina responded, she assisted me through our itinerary. Martina was very helpful from the very first email, gave ideas and suggestions for our trip. We must have exchanged a good 50+ emails, back and forth during our arranging. She was very lovely to work with. Butler's allowed for deposit by a designated date to secure the trip with the final payment being 3 months before the trip. This was great for everyone to make monthly payments.
Martina sent me the vouchers for all the hotels and attractions ahead of time for us to print out. She was very detailed and this made me feel very comfortable. All the accomodations that Martina booked us were lovely and included delicious breakfast. All the hotel were 10 minute walk to attractions and center centers.
Our tour began 1 day after we flew into Dublin, and Butler's bus picked us up at our hotel promptly.
Our driver John greeted us with a great smile and warm welcome.
John was extremely knowledgeable throughout our trip. He seem to have a wealth of knowledge of Ireland and was very passionate about the Connemara region. We learned so much on this trip. In some areas along our route to the next town, John would get us all off the bus and talk about the landscape and allow time for photos. He was upfront about what to do with our trash, belongings and the routes we were taking everyday. He was very organized and more importantly friendly.
His driving skills were top notch, we always felt safe along our route and some of the roads were quite small and narrow.
Everyone in our group stated that this was the best trip they had ever taken. We truly had the best time and if everyone at Butler's is like Martina and John, you won't go wrong.

Highly recommend using Butlers tours around Ireland! The drivers are very knowledgeable and friendly. I especially loved having Tony Butler as our driver/guide on a recent 9 day trip. He always went above and beyond for our group!

My family of 5 (adults) had a wonderful time in Ireland as a result of Butlers Tours’ service. We booked a private driver/coach for our time in Ireland. Prior to our trip we worked with Claire, our Tour Manager, who was very responsive and answered all our questions. She provided us with an itinerary of examples of the different sites for each area that we could visit for every day (and we saw most of these and our driver had other suggestions too). I highly recommend speaking with a Tour Manager prior to booking anything because they can help with hotels, locations to visit, etc. and let you know whether you will need to pre-book anything.
When we arrived in Ireland, our driver, Paul, met us at the airport and made our trip better than we could have imagined! He suggested wonderful activities for each day and arranged everything so that when we arrived at the venue they were already expecting us. That is first class service! We loved the stories Paul told and he gave us a real education about the rich history of Ireland and the Irish people. Paul also shared other treasures of Ireland with us including Sean’s Bar (great whisky and Paul knew the owner so we had a great experience speaking with him!), Doolin Cave, the Country Life, Work house and EPIC museums, and the National Stud. Paul also knew ways to avoid the large tour groups which really helped when visiting the Cliffs of Moher.
Paul selected wonderful places for us to eat but what made it extra special was that Paul knew the people wherever he took us so it was just another level of comfort and enjoyment while we were there.
Everything was so well planned and taken care of by Paul that he has spoiled future trips for us! We will want this exceptional treatment from all our future guides wherever we go! It is good to know, that when we do visit Ireland again that Butlers Tours and Paul will be there!
We had an incredible family vacation and would certainly recommend Butlers Tours to anyone who will be visiting Ireland!

We are repeat customers of Butler Tours. We got married last year in Ireland and they helped make our trip so special that we came back again this year to celebrate our first anniversary. What started as 2 people very quickly increased to 13 people and no thought was necessary, we called Butler. They DO NOT disappoint. We had yet again a wonderful driver, Dick Daly. The only hard thing is you meet someone, spend several days with them, make a connection and then have to say goodbye, and that is always so hard. Dick was so good to us, very accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. All of us connected with him from young to old. I can't forget to mention Martina in the office, you can't put a price on her skills, she is wonderful to work with, and always spot on with her advice. I have no doubt that we will be using Butler again and so should you.

I was overwhelmed by the amount of tour companies in Ireland. Ultimately, I decided on Butlers for my honeymoon due to their responsive and helpful customer service of Claire, comfortable fleet, and unbeatable value. From the start of our 3-day journey, our driver, Mike P, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on all things Ireland. He was able to make suggestions of things to do and was flexible when we requested to change our itinerary a bit. He always ensured we were comfortable, on time, and even that we had water. Our honeymoon was unforgettable thanks to Mike and Butlers Tours!

In October, my siblings and spouses and I took a trip to Ireland. Butler's did an exceptional job helping with the planning and our driver/guide, Paul Daly, was excellent!!
Paul met us in Dublin on the 20th and took us on a world wind tour of the beautiful island! We headed north through Belfast, The Giants Causeway, and Derry. Then down the coast through Donegal, Sligo and into Galway.
From there we headed to the Cliffs of Moher and the lovely Dingle Peninsula.
Continued around the southern coast through Killarney, Cork and Cobh and Wexford.
From there we headed back to Dublin.
Paul went out of his way to find the areas where our grandparents came from. He was flexible, professional and knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better guide.
Don't underestimate the amount of time you could spend exploring this stunning country! Even though it rained EVERY day, the beautiful scenery and friendly people made for a fantastic vacation.

A great choice for anyone planning a trip to Ireland! It's been about a year since we went on our trip with Butler's (Dec. 2021) and I still think about what a great trip it was. From first reaching out to Butler's, planning was a breeze! Very responsive, completely transparent about was/wasn't included and the best quote I received from anyone. Even during the pandemic, Butler's ensured we had a great time. Our driver, John, was fantastic! He gave us great tips to maximize our time, especially taking into consideration the winter daylight hours at the time. Not only was he our driver but he also provided history along the way, was happy to answer any questions and gave us great recommendations on restaurants/pubs. Due to a tropical storm at the time, we had to cut our trip short but John went above and beyond to get us to Galway since the storm was rolling in when we were due to stay in Dingle and we would have been trapped if we had stayed there that night. Other companies would have easily left us in Dingle, but John took it upon himself to get us to Galway, which was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever seen. As a former travel agent for trips to Ireland, I 100% suggest you do not hesitate on booking with Butler's if you are looking for a driver/tour guide to bring your group around Ireland! Thanks Butlers!

We just returned from a great 5 day tour with Butlers. Our driver, Mick O'Malley, was absolutely the finest professional, in every sense of the word. He was well-prepared, kind, polite, helpful, and of course a great driver. But even better, he gelled with our family immediately. He related equally well with me and my husband, as well as our kids. Everyone felt very comfortable with him! Mick O'Malleys' stories about Ireland and our scenery were much-appreciated by all. Everywhere we went, he was a wealth of knowledge and information. But, he has an amazing knack for not being over-bearing. He was always perfectly balanced. In addition, his stories about his other professional experiences of driving all over the world were incredible. He could write a book of his adventures! We loved hearing about them on our longer days on the road. Hiring a driver from Butlers might be one of the best travel decisions I've ever made. We were blessed to make Mick O'Malley's acquaintance and can only dream of returning to Ireland and having Mick show us a few more magical places. We give Butlers and Mick the HIGHEST recommendation!

Hi, we will be in Ireland end of March and would like to hire a vehicle that would accommodate 8 adults +luggage. We will go from Dublin to Galway stay one night then drive the coast to Cliff of Moher and continue down to Killimer to head to Killarney and stay there a couple of days and eventually back to Dublin. Please let me know info about cost, etc.

we are a small group of 6 people looking for a 5-6 day tour of southern ireland starting in Dublin on monday sept 30,2019,returning to Dublin on friday October 4th, or Saturday morning. i would be grateful for any information about itineraries, cost, accommodation options etc . we are all keen to visit a couple of whiskey distilleries as well as the sights of Ireland! thank you!

We also booked with Butlers and I can't say enough good things! John Stapleton was our driver and he was a delight. We were a group of 13 people. We booked our rooms ourselves and shared our itinerary with the company. John was great about making additional recommendations and calling ahead to get reservations for us. Our bus tour was about $310 each for 7 days--we paid for hotels separately. We began in Dublin, went to a farmhouse outside Killarney, 2 nights at an AirBnb in Kinsale, spent a night in Dingle, then 2 in Galway and then back to Dublin. It was the most amazing trip!

Do you have a photo (not just a schematic) of the inside of the smallest van. We are concerned about fitting 6 adults in the third row with three seats. We will be on a long day trip from Cobh up to Killarney and back to Cobh and want to be comfortable.

Butlers will send you a picture on your email address. Just to note the seats in the Class A VIP minivan are wider than a standard car seat so should comfortably fit three adults.

Hi..we are coming into Cobh on April 27th on Celebrity Eclipse...so we have limited time. I have copied a company that does private tours for what we are looking for...does not have to be exact...but we are fine in a group tour. Can you tell us if you have something along these lines.
