Cork to Kilkea

Barry drove our family of six from Cork to Kilkea with a stop at the Rock of Cashel. He was professional but very friendly and informative with a fantastic sense of humor. He made sure we were able to check in at the castle hotel we were staying at before leaving us there. Thank you for a seamless experience!

Amazing journey from Cork to Galway

The absolute best part of my trip to Ireland was the day spent with Liam traveling from the Ballymaloe House to Galway. He is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the island. I learned more from him than I had from any of the books I had attempted to read. The sights we saw will forever be imprinted on my memory.
On the backside, Bob is amazing to work with. He was quick to respond, excellent in mapping out a plan, and a genius for hiring Liam! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone traveling to Ireland.

Thank you so much for this amazing review Your so right about Liam he makes my life easy, so many times people have said that with Liam it feels like you're travelling with an old friend. Years of travelling the highways and byways of Ireland has given me the first-hand knowledge of Ireland to be able to give you some good suggestions of places to see along the way. Having drivers like Liam are what makes the journey for you and I'm lucky enough to have a few more drivers like Liam working with us. Bob

Fabulous day tour!

We could not have been happier with our private day tour of Ring of Kerry and Ring of Skellin with our new best friend Liam! He was so kind and generous with his time and knowledge of the area. Truly a wonderful Irish ambassador taking us to beautiful sights over a long journey. Bob is the consummate professional organizer, with excellent communication in advance of our special day. We highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Ireland, whether by cruise, train or plane. You’ll be well taken care of, you’ll receive personal attention and the fare is quite reasonable when all is said and done!

The Highlight of our Trip to Ireland!

My family of 4 worked with About Cork Taxi Tours to take us to Kilmichael Parish to visit the area our ancestors lived, prior to their immigration to the US. We got so much more than we ever expected! Liam, our driver, surprised and delighted us by taking us to historic sites along the way, enhancing our understanding of Irish history, Irish culture, and the challenges our family might have faced as they contemplated leaving their home. Liam gave the family an unforgettable experience, offering us far more than we ever expected or even originally asked for!

He was so helpful, kind, generous with his time and knowledge. He made our experience the best part of our Irish trip!

I highly recommend About Cork Taxi Tours and Liam to anyone interested in making memories with their family and friends!

We had a great experience with our Driver John Bolger, or as we call him Big John, he was amazing funny and very knowledgeable, he really took care of us and was very kind, this is the way of doing business with this company, we really recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a great time, we hope that Bob the boss keeps on hiring guys like John, thanks.

Excellent service in Ireland

Bob at About Cork Taxi Tours saved us when two of our tours where canceled during our cruise. He was quick, efficient and a great communicator. He supplied tours to the Cliffs of Moher and in Killybegs and transportation in Dublin to the airport. I can't say enough on the high level of service we received. I would recommend him to anyone who is traveling to Ireland.

Great day in Cork and beyond with John!

We spent a lovely day around Cork and surrounding areas. John was our driver and he was great! He was a safe driver, gave us lots of info about the area, took us to some photo spots that the big tour buses were not able to do because of narrow streets and time. He was very kind to us and our two young kids and we really enjoyed spending the day on his tour. Thanks John!

John Shea (Tour Guide) was very knowledgeable, informative, and an excellent tour guide. He made you feel comfortable, very personable, and made sure we were taken cared of. The fact is that he investigated with local residents to find the O’Crowley’s Castle. For my husband and our family, this was the icing on the cake! If you could see my husband and daughter’s demeanor, finding where his family came from, made this trip all worthwhile. In addition, he was patient with my daughter, who wanted to shop and take photos in the Crowley Town.

10 S-T-A-R-S is my rating for John Shea. Thank you for a great tour of Cork!!!!!

Bob went out of his way (including numerous planning emails) to arrange a trip we wanted to take from Cork to the Rock of Cashel. Bob arranged Paul as our driver, and he was excellent. Paul took great care of us -- getting us to our location quickly and safely, waiting, and taking us back in the time frame we needed, as well as pointing out sights along the way. We felt in great hands from our first email to Bob. He really cares about his customers. Do not hesitate to use.
