My son had his 11th bday here today with 9 of his friends they did bowling and ping pong and food was on 1.30_4 the food was lovely they enjoyed activities I found staff efficient and friendly esp vileda not sure if I have her name correctly it was 19 euro per head which I found to be reasonable compared to what u get at other places we also are in restaurant and food was delicious would recommend

Arranged an afternoon stag day here at the weekend. Bowling, pool, table tennis and really good food for a reasonable price.
Had a bar tab and wristbands to access the tab, all worked out well.

2 of us came in without reservations at about 7.30pm on a Sunday. We were told bowling lanes are busy until 9pm. The restaurant had lots of space available. We had chicken supreme burger (I think it was called), bbq chicken wings and pornstar martinis. Delicious food and cocktails!
We then went for a walk and came back in for bowling at 9pm. We got another round of drinks. For bowling we paid 20 euro for the 2 of us. I was given bowling shoes because I had 4 inch heels on. No instructions were explained.
It took us about 10-15 minutes to play 1 game (10 rounds) between the 2 of us. I must mention that I came here about 2 years ago and we were given 30 minutes per session. So when the bowling set was not reset I asked if there was an issue only to be told that we only get that 1 game. The supervisor said that this is the new rule. Aparently its better if customers want to stop to have food (at 9pm on Sunday??), or to go for a 10 minute cigarette break (neither of us smoke). I wouldn't have played as fast if I knew we only have 1 game. No heads up was given.
I went back to our bowling alley, for us to finish the 2nd round of drinks. Before we even finished our drinks another group came to play at our bowling lane. Staff had no decency to let us know before the other group came over, which would have saves us from the looks the group were giving us. Felt rushed out of there, and extremely disappointed.
How come they had a set time for the bowling groups before us (until 9pm) but for us it ended after 10-15 minutes? Hardly all groups spend the same amount of time, groups of 2 vs groups of 6 people...makes no sence to me. And 10 euro for 10-15 minutes of bowling is too expensive.

We had book staff party for the bowling and finger food. Everything was organised very well and professional. Great staff and atmosphere. Thanks a lot!

Awful experience, bouncers at the door refused entry even though we had a booking. Totally unacceptable way to treat customers. Won't be back and wouldn't recommend anyone to go.

Phoned reception to book bowling for 8pm that night, I wanted to book online however the website would not allow me to enter student prices. Staff that answered the phone was extremely friendly and helpful, said all I would have to provide is student ID. When we arrived the bouncer was not friendly at all, asked for our COVID certs and then wouldn’t accept my ID, I had my student card, my vaccine card, a copy of my license and my passport. Wasn’t accepted and was asked to leave, we weren’t intending on drinking at all just wanted to go bowling but was shunned. I then attempted to ring reception to explain the situation and cancel our booking, rang several times over a 30 minute period with no answer to the phone. Eventually gave up and when speaking to others who had been at the mardyke before they said it was awful with poor customer service, they waited ages for their order to be taken and were ignored and left with dirty plates on their table all night. Glad we didn’t go in the end, decided to go bowling in leisureplex instead where we had a wonderful experience.

Drinks are nice and bowling is fun, however the bouncer is quite aggressive. I haven't been asked for I.d. in years as I'm 30 this year so I dont carry my passport around with me. I wasn't expecting to be shouted at so loud about this that I had to hold back tears. Probably wouldn't go back because of him. A few friends inside said the same.

Was dead quite and still took nearly an hour to get a drink. Table service is shocking. No one comes around to take orders. When they do come around they take payment and then don't come back with the drinks. Also can't smoke in the smoking area.

A group of us had a fantastic time here over the weekend bowling and playing pool.
The service was wonderful, staff so friendly and helpful - couldn't fault them.
We decided to have some food after our activities after seeing it being served during our time there and have to say the food was absolutely fantastic. I'm going to be dreaming about those wings for a long time!
We also had some cocktails and the pornstar martini in particular was delicious.
We will definitely be back!

Was in the Maradyke last night and at the door we were stopped to check QR codes and ID, there was a young lady in front of us who looked about 16, the Security lady asked her for ID and it was out of date so the girl wasn’t left in, but the female bouncer was using pro social modelling skills and was so professional and friendly, We haven’t been out since before Covid and this gave us peace of mind that things were very well run here, the health safety and welfare of patrons was paramount in this establishment, Well done to all the staff such a great friendly atmosphere, we had a great night! We will be back again!!! The food is amazing and cocktails too
