This tour was so much fun - Shane was awesome - one of the most memorable parts of our visit to Ireland. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time! Shane was a great guide so funny, kind and provided us with a host of information. He also took the time to learn everyone’s names. The pubs we went to were all so welcoming and unique. Amazing night of food, drinking, music and singing with good group of people in the beautiful mountains of Ireland. Would absolutely recommend this tour. If I ever make it back to Dublin I’d do it again!

Shane, our guide, was funny, kind and knowledgeable. The tour itself went thru beautiful country, and the pubs were delightful!! I highly recommend this!

Amazing night! Lots of laughs and our guide Shane was fantastic!! Also dropped us off at our hotel and showed us a great kebab spot!! It's a MUST do in Dublin!!!

le guide ne parle pas un mot de français
les 2 premier pubs sont sympas mais dans le troisième c'est la catastrophe pas de place pour s'asseoir la musique n'a rien d'irlandais et est jouer avec 1 heure de retard
bref on attend que cela se passe
dans le pub où l'on a mangé c'était un self et c'était très très moyen

There's a reason it has so many 5/5 reviews - easily our favorite part in visiting Ireland. Shane is AWESOME and keeps the tour in high spirits. Pubs were great, scenery was great, sad it's over already. We can't recommend this any higher.

What an amazing experience! Shane has created a truly remarkable product and his passion for helping others enjoy their travels, is the cherry on top. This small group tour was the highlight of our time in Dublin. This is not a giant group tour where you are herded like sheep—the group and van are small and friendly. And not only does this adventure take you out of the city and into the gorgeous mountains, but Shane provides historical and comical commentary about Ireland, it's people , their old pubs and their wonderful beers and spirits along the way. He also introduces you to Irish music and brings you to a delightful dinner spot. Highly recommend!

My brother and I went on this tour. I have to say it’s one of the best experiences we have had so far! Shane was fantastic!! We would recommend this tour to anyone! From the little bars we went to and the food! Thank you Shane for creating such a wonderful experience!! Slainte!

Highly recommend spending time visiting the rural pubs & meeting their patrons! Shane’s humor and story telling is second to none!
We had changes to our original booking the day before and Shane went out of his way to make sure our experience didn’t disappoint! Don’t hesitate to book this tour-it was our favourite time spent in Dublin!

yes advance booking is essential as its a small group tour max 16 people per tour & ideal for solo travellers as you will be on a social tour amongst like minded travellers.

What pubs does the tour stop at as there are six of us and wanting to know if going by private car would allow for more of a customized tour that allows for us to stay longer at places we like and such. Any suggestions? Thanks

Plenty of time allowed at each pub. Taking your own car would 100% minimize the experience. Our tour guide knew all the local pub history. We really enjoyed the ride (singing and talking) between pubs, the camaraderie of meeting others on our same tour and the warm reception we received because we were part of the tour.

Is there an opportunity to eat during the 5hr evening tour? I know it's not included, but is food available for purchase? Or is it recommended to eat before?

Recommend eating before. You can certainly order bar snacks at any of the stops. Hope you get to do this. Awesome time! Enjoy!!

Hi, we are really looking into this pub tour. We have a very limited time in Dublin so if we do this tour it would mean that we won't really do much in Dublin on our own. We are doing the Killinghaim Gaol tour and plan to stop for a quick visit to St Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church but that will be about all we have time for. I was wondering how much time did you actually get to see the surrounding area? Did you feel that this tour gave you an overview of the Wicklow Mountains and countryside as well as a visit to the pubs?

Hi there! I've done this tour three times, and am taking a fourth in November. If you have limited time in Dublin, TAKE THIS TOUR. If you had one afternoon in Dublin, I would still say TAKE THIS TOUR!! You meet the best people, visit the best pubs, see the countryside, and the tour guide, Shane, is just wonderful. If you want to enjoy the views, take an afternoon tour. If you want to see the genuine Irish pubs in all their glory, take an evening tour. I've taken this tour as a solo traveller and with my brother, and it's always the highlight of my trips to Dublin. Enjoy!
