Would of preferred to give 0 but not there. Turned away for no apparent reason. Id certainly avoid this place and head to Graingers on Talbot street great food/drink/service.

The minute you plant your bum at the bar, you feel at home.
The owner, Greg, and all the other people working the bar are absolutely lovely, as are the locals frequenting Lloyds.
I guess you could call it a sports bar ( at least six big screens), and there’s bingo and sometimes music later in the evening.
Excellent selection of beer, expertly served.
But above all: this is a bar where you feel at home right away. We even received presents!
Were in Dublin for four days, made sure we went into Lloyds at least once every day. Will definitely do the same next time around.

Didn’t have to walk too far to get to the next pub, Lloyds is right beside Mullets bar. They should really knock the adjacent wall and have a walk through! Lloyds is a family run pub that dates all the way back to 1893 and has a fairly lively atmosphere going on at all times of the day. The horse racing was on so we decided to have a few bets, all losers of course, but good fun with a nice pint of Smithwicks, friendly staff, and some good company. Funny to see the CCTV camera at the bar, but I guess this part of Dublin can get hairy at times, a fatal stabbing just up the road the previous night! Not a bad old pub, and one to return to in the near future.

Dropped in as I had a little wait for my train from Connolly station across the road. The bar staff were pleasant and very efficient. The beer was excellent with a good variety offered. There were a at least a half dozen large screens; works well when there is live sport. A good mixture of locals and train users. There is a bit of character about this pub.

I visited this establishment on a recent trip to Ireland and was delighted with what I found.
This is a mans "pub." Nothing fancy or pretentious just good beers, ales, lots of locals and a genuine barman to doesn't gush over you but never lets your glass become empty.
A number of large TV's with sport and horse racing.
Not much for the little woman but then again I don't think they try to entice that market.
If you get free for an hour or two then this a pub you will enjoy.

Great pub for a night out, staff are lovely. Always a happy atmosphere there and always guaranteed the best entertainment. Ain't no session like a Lloyd's session.
