Great Tour - Good Drinks, Fun Guide!

This was a blast. Andrew was a lot of fun and did a great job explaining the five whiskeys in an accessible way that both wasn't snobby and not condescending at all. I learned a lot about what I liked and that price doesn't necessarily correspond with preferences. The food pairings were all tasty and made a lot of sense in context of the drinks, and I just regret not eating even more of the cheese. The Premium (middle priced) tour was quite reasonable from a value standpoint, and I'm very glad we did this tour instead of taking the Jameson tour or something like that. Strong recommend.

The whiskey is fine, the guide made it even better

Our guide, Tierran, was the best. His knowledge of Irish history, as well as his knowledge of distilling, was very welcome and valuable, making our first full day as first-time visitors to Ireland very special. Our second favorite thing was the Irish whiskey — of course! Fine stuff, each one, as well as the buildings in which each was served. Thank you for a grand time and a brilliant guide!

Excellent Irish Whiskey Tour

A wonderful time tasting whiskey with Tiernan! His knowledge about the process and history of Irish whiskey was amazing! The choice if whiskeys was inclusive of some of the best I’ve tasted and the food pairings of cheese, fruit, crackers and chocolate was perfect.

A must when in Dublin!

Andrew packed so much interesting information into the experience. We learned so much about whiskey, it’s impact on food/taste and it’s history in Ireland. The Lincoln Inn and The Palace Bar were the ideal locations providing a classic and unique Dublin feel to the event.

Great Experience Tasting Whiskey!

Andrew was a great host! We did this as a private tour for a work team outing. He was very informative and we all had a really fun time learning about and tasting some lovely whiskey. Highly recommend, especially for people who are visiting from outside Ireland.

So much fun!!! Just did this tour with my husband. Tiernan, our guide, was so delightful and informative! We had a great time - It was fun to go to two different pubs, and taste 5 different whiskys. I highly recommend!

Andrew was so thoughtful in his preparation and picks, and explained not only the history of whiskey in Ireland (and the world!) but also provided suggestions for what whiskeys you could pick up to take home based on your tastes!

The whole whiskey tasting experience was top class, Andrew is a very knowledgeable man in the whole whiskey industry, very impressive delivery in the area of the history of whiskey production and the distillation process, both locations visited, the Lincoln Inn and the Palace were ideal, cheeses, crackers, fruits and chocolates provided were very suitable and much appreciated, the 5 whiskeys provided were of high end quality , Black Bush, The Irishman, Terling Single Grain, Green Spot and Knappogue 12
