It’s a nice enough cathedral, but I just wasn’t wowed by the interior. Nice location along the river, it’s a good visit and short walk from the central downtown.

Absolutely beautiful. Different to the other churches and places of cathedrialliness in that it is modern :) . The acoustics are wonderful . Parking is a bit of a problem and , to me, expensive, as there are no hourly parking but a flat daily rate (7 Euros) that's OK for the day, but not for the 1/2 hr or so that you would probably be there.

Très belle cathédrale de Galway. Elle est accessible facilement, avec un parking payant. Entrée gratuite, pas d'audio guide.
C'est un très bel édifice, mais récent dans la construction.
Nous avons apprécié de le visiter, sans toutefois la trouver exceptionnelle, compte tenu de ce qu'on est venu chercher en Irlande : le typique et authentique.

This cathedral is pretty but not something I would go out of my way to see. It was built in 1950s so it’s not that old. Wouldn’t waste my time visiting.

Such a beautiful and touching experience. A must stop if you are in Ireland. Beautiful stained glass, you can have your loved ones name listed in the Golden Registry book for 15 Euros.

Beautiful cathedral with a cool connection to President JF Kennedy. The artwork is really unique and considering it’s fairly “modern” it’s a different experience than other, older churches.

It's a large and beautiful cathedral. If you've seen a lot of European cathedrals, this won't be mind-blowing, but we did find it lovely and peaceful inside. We also appreciated that it's free to go inside.
