Honestly, I just want to start by stating that not only were the views beautiful, but that the people my friends and I met throughout the trip were unbelievably sweet and helpful. On the first day, my friends and I checked in to the hostel called the Sugan, in which the workers showed us around the nice building. The hostel offered breakfast in the morning, allowed us to do laundry in their facility, and even nicely dropped us off towels when I asked for them really late at night. The next day was the hike up to Carrauntoohil. Let me tell you that this hike up the tallest mountain in Ireland is no walk in the park- it's a strenuous climb and hike. That being said- our guide, Chris, was the most perfect person for the job. He was so patient with the slow hikers and even the unprepared hikers, his humor put a smile on everyone's face, and his preparedness allowed everyone to have a fantastic hike. This guy brought extra food, water, and clothing for us on the hike- that's dedication and preparation right there. After the fancy dinner, Chris showed us around town and took us to some staple Irish pubs. The next day consisted of a delightful kayaking session at Ross Castle and a relaxing sauna session at a Killarney Leisure Facility. Finally, we ended the trip with a touristy walk through the streets of the city. Such a beautiful country and Killarney Outdoor Experience made the stay a good, memorable one.

Had a guided tour booked for the weekend!it was a memorable experience from start to finish with a very informed guide. We were part of a larger group on our hike and it was both welcoming and great fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves,would recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely town!!

This was a real highlight of our trip to Kerry. Our guided tour started with a quick cycle through Killarney town before we hit the trails in the National Park, stopping at Muckross House and the ancient ruins of Muckross Abbey.
Next up was a picturesque bike ride around the lakes, taking in mossy forests, tranquil beaches and the Meeting of the Waters (stopping for plenty of pictures and a cupper of course).
We left our bikes at the foot of Torc Mountain and braved the steep steps to the summit (known as cardiac hill) and were rewarded with some absolutely breathtaking views across the lakes to Ross Castle.
Our final stop was Torc Waterfall. Walking alongside the Owengarriff River as it threads it's way through the lush green forest you can easily imagine you're in another world, when suddenly the waterfall appears tumbling down through the trees in a series of crystal clear pools. This is a must-see for anyone visiting Kerry and a great place to soak your feet after a long walk.
After a brilliant day we were back in Killarney in time for a Guinness in the early evening sunshine.
Killarney National Park is one of the most beautiful places I've visited, you simply can't miss this tour if you're in the area.

Incredible! I was lucky enough to go alone on this tour! You cycle in Killarney's national park in between the lakes (Lughae and Muckross) until you get to a mountain (500m high). There you go on a little hike (2-2'5h deppending on the rythm). It is called the cardiac hill, it doesget your heart beat racing!
The effort is worth it, when you get to the top, in front of you there's some breathtaking landscapes. On the way back and returning to the bikes, you head to Troc's waterfall, so beautiful, you can even get to drink from it (so refreshing!). Finally you head back to town! (as we were with good rythm, it gave us time to go to Ross castle - but it is not part of the tour).
During the whole trip, both cycling and climing, Chris was great with explaining some of Irlenad's history, geography and some other stories. He's easy going it you want to take a rest or a few pictures, he can also be a photographer!
This tour is amazing and the relation price-quality is espectacular. You won't get it better. And you get to know the place from a more personal point of view! So if you enjoy cycling and hiking, this tour is a must if you visit Killarney!!

I am originally from Killarney myself but never got the chance to really explore the magnificent scenery on our own doorstep. Chris brought us out to see some of the most beautiful areas that Ireland has to offer, he was very polite and extremely knowledgeable about Killarney and its great history. I would highly recommend the service that Chris is offering whether you are visiting from afar or even if you are local.

Fantastic way to spend an afternoon.great way to see one of the most beautiful parts of ireland. Chris our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience was efficient and professionally run, but most importantly fun.

Recently had friends stay with me from Scotland and typical Irish Weather didn't get any break in rain till 4th day. Rang Chris last minute and he kindly fitted all four of us in. From start to finish if was worth every cent, great experience, loads of fun and learnt bits about Killarney I never knew . He's a fantastic tour guide and very knowledgeable.
