We found the music ( not traditional ) a little too loud for our taste. However the place was certainly rocking!

Dropped in for a drink after dinner. The location is right in the centre of the town. Bar was lively. We were fortunate to get seats. Plenty of bar staff on duty. Live music with a one-man-band. Thankfully it wasn't TOO loud. We enjoyed our drinks.

Great location in town, it had lovely street furniture out for the summer evenings. It has good music... We always enjoy The Clock

Spent a lovely evening here, the staff were fab and the atmosphere was brilliant, live music and an all round enjoyable evening. Would recommend to anyone visiting westport.

Mi sono fermato in questo pub per cena e ho ordinato degli scampi fritti serviti con insalata e le immancabili fries e della maionese aromatizzata all'aglio. Il cibo è buono e anche la birra, tutto accompagnato da un duo di musicisti dal vivo. Mi sento di consigliarlo anche se forse manca quel particolare che fa la differenza. Prezzi nella media dei pub.

Very good live music on Fridays and Saturdays, funny atmosphere. It's always full of people. Excellent beer. Don't forget about having a Guinness ;)

Went here for my birthday. Planned on having one or two here then moving on....ended up getting comfy at the bar & had a great night!!
I had never been in it before & remarked to my husband it looks like an Irish bar you would find abroad, fire, random Irish mementos...rugged furniture (all wooden stools & benches, not the most comfortable if I'm honest but the drink worked as a cushion lol). However, a warm welcome, excellent prompt bar service & brilliant entertainment in the form of "The New Social" we ended up having a ball.
Only gripe is toilets are tiny & there are only two cubicles in the ladies so there was always a que & you were always kind of standing on someone but again small gripe in grand scheme of things. They were also spotless & stayed that way throughout the night in spite of fact there appeared to be no female staff.
Good night, good drink & service, kinda all you look for on a night out really!
