Best part of our vacation

During our recent trip to Ireland, we stumbled upon Lough Bo Shooting Centre. My husband has some experience shooting clays, but it was my first time. Gerry was an amazing instructor! He had us both hitting birds, and we left impressed with our scores and the overall experience. The session was by appointment, which allowed for a personalized lesson. The price was very reasonable. One of the memorable moments of our trip.

Thank you Gerry, Gerry, Leona, Dillon and Cloda for organising a great family day out.
The competitions were a great way to get us all involved.
Having never shot guns before I was nervous but instructors were on hand all the way.
Thank you so much for an excellent day.
Well worth a trip out to this gorgeous part of the country.
Great job done by one and all.

Birthday shootout

Great craic, we all really enjoyed our time there. We were not rushed in any way and Gerry the gunman is very knowledgeable and patient. I would heartily recommend Lough Bo shooting range to anyone looking for something a little different. Already roped in a driver for a return visit. Got to master the shotgun!!

Friends get together.

A group of us (15 ppl ) did this for the first time, and it was Sooooo much fun. The instructors were lovely, friendly guy's who talked us through each target. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon and we'll definitely be back again.

Brilliant day out! Professional-knowledgeble instructors! Highly recommended!

Although we only live 25 minutes away in Strandhill, my brother, father and I only visited Lough Bo Shooting Centre for the first time today. It is something we have wanted to do for a long time and we were blown away by how much fun it was. We were greeted by Dillon, the owner Gerry's son who gave us a brief history of the picturesque countryside and quaint little cottage that doubles as 'The Office'... (It was Gerry's Grandfather's Uncle's cottage I believe). Gerry soon met us and talked us through our chosen package and related safety. We opted for package 2, clay pigeon shooting (shotgun) and also target shooting (riffles).
I cannot stress how professional, friendly and helpful Gerry and Dillion were. They are incredible instructors who clearly know their stuff. It was also really nice to experience father and son working together. They are clearly a very hardworking, local family business and it shows, the service was fantastic!
We each took turns in shooting targets coming from five different directions, taking scores and being super competitive, before moving to a different area to shoot targets at 25metre distances :)
This was a brilliant activity and a fantastic day out. Would be super for anyone...hens/stags, individuals, couples, families, corporate groups, birthdays, everyone!!! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great value, super setting, professional- knowledgable instructors and deadly fun! Just raging it took us so long to visit!
We cannot wait to go back.

Was here for my stag party and had an absolute brilliant time. All the lads enjoyed themselves and would love to go back. Highly recommended!!

Just back from a fantastic day with Gerry and the boys at Lough Bo. Great place, fantastic instructors and I'll defiantly be back (commiserations to my OH, coz I beat him 😂) Highly recommended

Great activity for family get together

We went to Lough Bo shooting range as an activity on a family get together. The team were really welcoming and accommodating there and everyone had lots of fun. Gerry was a great instructor and gave helpful advice and feedback to everyone so they could improve their shooting technique. We did the combined clay and rifle package, which was great value for money at €35/pp. My mum who is in her 70s didn't come along as she was concerned about the kick-back from the shotgun, but the rifles have no recoil and I think we'll be back for her to get some target practice in another time. Would recommend this for a grown-up family get together.
