My parents, my little brother and I went to Tinahely's Pumkin Patch today. I would highly recommend Tinahely. Firstly we listened to some storytelling, then we got a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch where we chose a pumpkin after choosing our pumpkins we went back and there was an indoor play area with go karts,sandpits, etc. for kids as well as a lovely little cafe and gift shop. I really enjoyed my visit perfect for young children.

Very good food and cute. But not for all ages. Good for infants to 10 yr olds. Small so not overwhelming.

Have dined here twice with a group of friends, 10 in total. We made a quick call ahead to say we were coming and when we arrived table for ten set and ready. Food is great, service is excellent and ambience is very interesting. We had no children so we didn't use the farm walk or playbarn. Its a very friendly place with an eclectic range of goods for sale in the shop, including brown bread and free range eggs.
There is construction work going on at present which will further improve the premises.
We enjoyed our visits and will definitely call again.

spent a couple of hours here €5 per child, great family farm and nice coffee shop, go karts for the kids to play on and you can spend as long as you like here

During our exploring of the area, we dropped into this establishment for a leg stretch. Definitely worth a visit as they have everything you could want for the weary traveller, clean toilets, an excellent selection of eats in the cafe/restaurant, a play area for the grub rats for a small fee. The stand out for us was the shop selling wonderful tea sets at very reasonable prices.

Decided to head out for a day trip with my Son and haven't been here before. Easy to find although was very busy with single file parking on way in and more in front of barn and across to the left available. Had checked out the website prior to visit, good opening hours and friendly and helpful staff.
Slightly disappointed with pricing of pumpkin patch it is usually €5 into the play barn and for driving down approx 150 metres on a tractors trailer picking your own pumpkin and having a hot chocolate afterwards ot was costing another €9.50 on top!! I appreciate it's about the experience but Tinahely farm is not very big, a few animals to look at but no walks around or outdoor play or picnic areas.
Inside the barn was very cold (that is to be expected really)and very dated. Mix and match seating, sand pit area a great idea though. A ping pong table, mini tractors and go karts. There was thankfully some self service tea and coffee with a wonderful selection of their homemade cakes. For children a goody bag for only €3 which had a drink, small bar, haribo and crisps now this was excellent value for money, especially for larger families. Face painting is also available free of charge which is a lovely touch and added value to the day.
Overall we did enjoy ourselves and I will be back again to sample the food in the restaurant which has a wonderful reputation and to buy more of the home produce goods for Christmas presents.

We stopped at Tinahely farm for coffe and cake on a cycling trip. Food was excellent, with an extensive restaurant menu available. Also on site is a farm shop selling local food and crafts and there is an activity barn for kids. Highly recommended as a stop off during a visit to the Wicklow mountains.
