Had a very good experience, not too demanding and very peaceful, great guides and great weather in early October. Got the chance to see some wildlife and great views

Best kayaking experience we've had

We are two women in our 50's and had a really joyful time! Mike was very attentive, I learnt more from him about how to paddle than any other kayaking session I'd previously gone on. Loved the calmness & wildness of the canal - seeing swans, various wild birds; paddling through the reeds, cool water, and under a bridge. (We went to Saul Junction). We are both soo glad we went on this trip. We've been inspired to look up a local conoe club to where we live in Brighton to carry on. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience

This is a perfect family activity for us (children age 9&11). Despite initial nerves Mike was a great teacher. He made if fun by suggesting games and activities on the board and we had a lovely time.

Best new experience- Mike made paddle boarding achievable and fun!

As we arrived we were very nervous to try something new but Mike was super friendly and really encouraging. I had very low expectations and never thought I’d be able to stand up on the paddle board but with step by step instructions and loads of encouragement, I did and absolutely loved the whole experience! Mike made it really fun with some games and tricks too- we were with another lovely couple who helped make the experience even more enjoyable. He tailors the sessions to everyone’s needs and makes sure everyone is comfortable yet pushing themselves in their own comfort zones. It is definitely something I would do again with Mike and bring more friends along to try it out too. As he said- welcome to your new hobby and indeed it might be :) thank you Mike- Hollie and Stacey

The best paddleboard experience!

Booked this for a stag activity - it was our first time paddleboarding and we all loved it so much thanks to Mike! We did the safari paddle at Saul junction, with amazing nature and lovely weather. Mike is an excellent instructor, who ensured both safety and fun by getting us involved in lots of games and challenges. Hands down the best thing to do around Gloucester. We can’t wait to paddleboard again!

Paddle board virgins

Just had the best afternoon Paddleboarding. My husband, myself and our 16 year old daughter were al beginners. Mike was a really good teacher, we all were standing up on our boards . I fell in a couple of times but added to the laugh we all had. There was only 5 of us in total in the group which was great.
Cheap to park, and a nice cafe at the end for coffee and cake!!

Really well equipped set up, we went as a family of 4 adults and had a great time at Saul Junction, paid parking but only £2.50 for 4 hours, instructor Mike was really knowledgeable and engaging

Great instruction, beautiful place, loads of fun

I'd wanted to paddle board for ages so at the end of a holiday booked the Saul Junction intro course. Mike and Grace were excellent - really clear instructions to guide you through step by step coupled with humour and the right words at the right time to give you the confidence to move to the next step. It wasn't easy and we had a few wobbles but we all got the hang of it and loved it. Kingfishers, swans and some summer rain too, but we didn't mind, we were having too much fun. If you want to try it out, these guys are the ones you should try it with. Great fun and a full body work out too :-)
