Saul Junction Paddleboarding

We had a private lesson for 2 last week at Saul Junction. Mike was brilliant - we learnt so much. He's a great instructor and knows the area and the sport incredibly well. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get on the water.

Perfect activity for birthday celebration!

We had a great afternoon on the water, it was very professionally run and such great fun to do with a group of friends. The team were super friendly & down to earth, they made us beginners feel totally at ease, their instructions worked as not one of us fell in! Was amazing to experience both paddle boarding and kayaking, i’ll definitely be doing more paddle boarding next summer!

Great fun with a great instructor

I wasn’t sure what to expect when my friend and I went kayaking @ Gloucester docks.
We were met by Mike who was friendly and informative and put us at our ease straight away.
He explained everything fully as we were all different ages of different abilities.
We got out onto the water and it was amazing, It was a wonderful way to spend a afternoon.
Mike gave us a history lesson of Gloucester docks which was very interesting.
He made it really fun and although we were with an instructor we were given a free reign to paddling up the canal at our own pace.
We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to do it all again.
I would recommend kayaking to anyone of any age as it’s a great activity taught by a very experience and fun instructor.

I went kayaking at soul junction Glos was amazing I have a Disability and Mike help me to get and help keep up great fun 100% recommend it

Best experience

We went as a family to do paddle boarding in Stroud, we were complete beginners and very nervous, but as soon as we got there and met the instructor we felt so at ease. We have never laughed so much, we will definitely be going back.

Paddleboard first experience at Saul Junction.

Visited Saul for a first time SUP experience. Mike was an excellent teacher and took great care to ensure I was safe (Iam 80 yrs old) Within a short time he had me standing up and paddling! He had some interesting comments about the Saul canal area. An enjoyable experience which I would recomend.

Brilliant first lesson at Gloucester Docks which I booked for a friend's birthday and attended with her. Mike was fabulous & filled us with confidence and we also learnt all about the history of the Docks too.

Highly recommend this Learning to paddle board session.

Fabulous, fantastic - Family Paddle Boarding - Saul junction

A fantastic session with Mike. He is calm, knowledgeable and fills you with confidence. From ease of navigating the website to book, through to the cheerful Mike meeting some very nervous paddlers, to getting in and out - it was fantastic. What a great afternoon.

We loved it so much we have already booked again!

Perfect day out with great instruction

Brilliant morning out with Mike today on a SUP safari from Saul Junction. We were all beginners in the group and everyone was standing and paddling confidently within 10minutes of getting on the board. Great instruction from Mike and a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning leisurely making your way along the canal, I can’t recommend Mike, Grace and the rest of the Discover Paddling team highly enough.

Saul Junction is also a really great place to hang out before / after your session. We took a picnic and sat by the canal watching the swing bridge in action and the canal boats passing by, the kids loved it!!

A really great day out.

Great day out

Fantastic day out at Saul Junction. Our group had mixed level of experience of kayaking and the paddle out and games were perfect for all our abilities. Everyone had a great time (aged 12 - 50). Great instructor, scenery and loads of fun. High;y recommended.
