Its easy to get to its easy to go in and come out. It has food and drink available. People are friendly and the stand was comfortable. It a good rugby venue

Great Day Out For Everyone

I am a huge sports fan and since relocating from London and being a lifelong football fan I decided to give Rugby a go.
with a group of friends we often travel out to watch Rugby matches. I am local(ish) to Bath, Bristol & Gloucester and over a few years of visiting various stadiums my conclusion is that value for money and overall experience Gloucester is the best stadium to visit.

The stadium is walking distance from the station (via many pubs 😉) and is well stewarded, friendly & easily accessible.

Once inside the stadium both sets of fans mix with each other and the food / drinks on offer are of high quality and inexpensive. (They have lots of concession stands as well as a double decker party bus pumping out music.

We choose to stand on the shed and tickets are reasonably priced, you get a good view wherever you stand + the stadium is always full so usually a great atmosphere and in recent times the Rugby (and the results as a concerted Gloucester fan) have been excellent.

I would highly recommend going to everyone and although I go with a friends and turn it into a bit of a boys day out there are plenty of families at the games and Gloucester look after everyone in what is o feel a very safe and fun environment.

I am a spurs fan and regular visit the new white hart lane stadium (I will do a separate review soon) and obviously the stadiums cannot be compared however as value for money and enjoyment you cannot knock Gloucester Stadium and I will be returning soon.

Friends Wake

We visited the stadium for a friends family members wake, the whole experience was so lovely and really was organised and set out well. We loved the takeaway vans outside and also the choice to have a sit down meal inside if wanted. The staff were ever so polite and helpful. An emotional day which was complimented by the hospitality.

Fantastic experience

My first experience of Kingsholm.

My overall impression is it’s a well oiled operation.

Hardly had to queue for a beer or food, no queue for toilets.

Great selection of beers and food throughout at good prices.

The staff all friendly, a few stewards got where I was sitting wrong, so maybe a refresher needed for staff, but overall very impressed.

As a Worcester fan, we could learn from this at Sixways!

Great to stand on a terrace

I was invited to watch the rugby on Fri night and had never been before. The ground is nice and I was in the shed end. There is a fan zone to get a drink which you can take with you. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great result and experience.

Last minute cup match ticket.

Visited family and due to an itinerary change decided to grab a last minute cup match ticket, which I received a 50% discount on the teams website.
Drinks were massively overpriced at £5.50 a cup which seemed like they were only 3/4 sized pints & a £1.00 surcharge for the cup it self.
Ground was completely contactless so don't forget to take card payment stuff with you.
The day was made even better with a 45-19 win over Exeter Chiefs.

It’s a rugby ground. Plenty of facilities refreshments and staff to have an enjoyable visit. The screens are a little small, but you should be watching the action. All in all a good place to see your team win

Night match

Had a great evenings rugby here last Friday night. Staff very friendly and food on site was good. Might be my fault but when I booked the tickets I went for the shed. It did say standing but on the tickets it gave seat numbers. There is no seating in the shed. I saying that we had a fab evening here.
