Excellence at its best,nothing is too much trouble for Kate and Duncan always welcoming friendly and so are the rest of the bar staff. Very clean establishment and the beer is top quality, very proud to call this my local, and a special mention for Luke who in my opinion is one of the best bartenders in the Midlands

You will struggle to find a couple that take as much pride In What they do -they are so welcoming and know how to please their customers - we took friends in that were visiting and some family members -a good time was had by all -the team obviously work so hard and whether you go in daily or for a one off random drink you won’t be disappointed 😬

What a lovely friendly pub,never been here before and as a local I’m embarrassed to say I should have come in here a long time ago. The staff are so friendly the decor is really nice with lots of tables. There’s lots of local banter at the bar if you fancy a chat just join in.

We recently visited this lovely country pub and were blown away by the friendly service.
It's what pubs used to be like and would highly recommend for a good pint or a gin and tonic.
Will visit again soon.

I cannot praise the staff in this pub enough, they are possibly the nicest landlady and landlord ever but stern enough to remove any trouble from the place.
They always make time to have a conversation without it hindering their service to others. They genuinely show a care and interest to their customers and that’s what makes it worth the trip.
I don’t know a single person with a bad word to say about the place and it will soon be my new local with the Olympic closing soon in Draycott. I’d much rather walk to the Chequers than go elsewhere in Draycott.
They always make time to have a conversation without it hindering their service to others. They genuinely show a care and interest to their customers and that’s what makes it worth the trip.

The landlord and landlady are so friendly and the staff are quality. Fantastic cheap cobs and excellent variety of coffees and of course fantastic real ale. A must for all pub lovers either on your own or with family. Dog friendly too.

Since Duncan and Kate took over the Chequers it has been transformed.
You receive a friendly welcome every visit. The staff are well trained and efficient.
The pub is always immaculately clean including glasses, tables, fixtures and fittings.
It has gradually become more family friendly, whilst retaining the old charm of a place for blokes to meet and have a few beers with a game of pool.
Both the pub and the beer garden have had numerous flowers and other plants added.
There are regular quizzes and live bands throughout the year together with extra special seasonal events.
It has become the hub of the village of Breaston.

The Chequers Inn Breaston is a great local pub serving a range of fine ales. There is live entertainment on Saturday night, free admission. Always a good atmosphere, with darts and pool etc, with free table nights. Excellent bread rolls available at very low prices.
