Another fantastic visit to Clue HQ. This time we did Detonation. I have marked it down by one simply because a couple of the puzzles simply didn't have enough clues to solve without assistance from our host!
Warren did a cracking job as our host though, despite some faulty equipment at the beginning!
Overall it was a fun room and we made it out with literal seconds to spare!!

Four of us took part in this activity. It was A-I-9 room. There was no indication of where to start. When we did find the start there was no logical step to the next test. This was a theme throughout or time in the room. Solving one test did not lead to the next.
We all emerged very disappointed. £25 per head so £100 for the four of us. Beware. There are many better ways to spend that amount of money.

If this has been the first time I had done an escape room, I would never do another. Unengaged staff, the room A-I-9 was basic and dull with just clues and padlocks, far FAR inferior to any of the other 15 escape rooms I have completed.

i have now done all the rooms here and i think they are one of the best escapes rooms and themes are set up amazingly and high quality. the latest one i did was A-I-9 and it is quite hard when there was just two of us in the room but our guy who was looking after us (unfortunately i didn’t get his name) was super kind and gave us some extra time as we were so close to getting out.

We played the 'Cluetankhamun' game, which was a lot of fun. We went as a family of four for a 30th Birthday. The puzzles felt fair, and not too obvious or obtuse. We managed to solve it, and it felt honestly like an achievement.
The staff were friendly and ran the game well. The price per person seemed fair for the effort that has been put into the games and props.

We did the Bunker escape room. It was great fun and was expertly overseen by Riley. Riley was friendly, professional and gave clues when needed. We managed to escape in time which is always good, but not with much time left 😄.

Me and my husband had a rare child free day and wanted to spend a day together doing something fun and this didnt disappoint! We had a great time together and our host Alex was absolutely fantastic, really made our day 😀 Detonation was a great room and really made us think! We will definitely be going back to try another room and may even take the children next time 🤣

OMG it was amazing. The staff were super friendly and the experience was amazing. Recommend the one I did today with friends, bunker 38.

Our third room here (Bunker 38 this time) and we made it out with 7+ minutes to spare! A fantastic escape room experience and easy enough for two of us (mum and 12 yr old) to complete in the 60 minutes. One of the clues wasn't working, but our games master was able to help out and it didn't hinder us in the slightest. We'd love to see more variety in the types of puzzle in future games (very combo/key padlock-heavy) but we still had lots of fun! Would recommend.

Am I allowed to take a packed lunch in the escape room? I have a problem that if my blood sugar levels get below 18.0, then I end up on the floor. I don't want the little kiddies seeing me, thinking I'm some sort of attraction in the escape room. I'm not a robot.

There are tables and chairs before you go inside, and a cafe. Not sure if you can have your own food, best ask the.
You are only in the room for an hour.
