Spontaneous decision to book axe throwing and what a great decision it was. Lucky for only two of us to have the whole place to ourselves and loads of great tips and general banter from Levi, what a Viking that guy is! 100% recommend and sure I will be back soon!

Despite it being bloody freezing outside (wasn't much warmer indoors), we really had a fantastic time. I've never done this before, so admittedly the thought of getting clanked on the Uncle Ned by an axe worried me, but it felt like a safe and controlled environment.

The professionalism and passion for axe throwing by these guys really shone through, I'd highly recommend this place.

Me and my partner visited today and it was so much fun! Levi the instructor was fantastic, very helpful, knowledgeable and down to earth. I would 100% recommended this place to anyone.

Really fun session chucking axes. Surprised how enjoyable it was and how much stress you could throw away. They should prescribe this to deal with low mood/stress I reckon. The guys running the show were fun, took it seriously and kept everyone safe but kept the session fun. Cheers

Viking sized fun!

Such an axe-citing time!

We were only a small group (5) for a low-key stag do. None of us had done it before, but our hosts had us feeling rel-axed (sorry!) and quickly lobbing axes like lumberjacks.

We had the whole place to ourselves, even got to choose our own music!

They taught us the basics and moved us on to trick shots, and ended with a competition … there were some super competitive types in our group, so they got fully into throws with flair, grunts and celebrations!

We’d booked an hour and it absolutely flew by … so much so that we got some overtime in the house to finish off the tournament :D

The venue is set inside Kanteena which looks like it’d be buzzing on a summers day to grab a few beers (not before throwing axes 😂), alas it was closed when we were there (Sunday).

If you’re looking for something fun and slightly outside the ordinary to do … definitely give Black Axe Throwing a try!

Can you ‘hack’ it?!

wow, what a axe-ellent (sorry! you've got us pulling out axe puns now!) review! thankyou! we're glad you liked your time with us, you all seemed to be having fun whilst you were all here, for five people you definitely filled up the venue with a lot of laughter and some of the most serious Viking roaring that i've ever heard! we hope you worked up a good thirst with us and went on to enjoy the rest of the stag night. we'd love to maybe see you lads again, stag or not, yours was a fantastic session to host, you all really threw yourselves into things, especially when the competition came around! again, thank you for the brilliant review and hope to see you all again.

Visited Black Axe Throwing in Lancaster last Saturday for the first time, and will definitely be going again. Straight away you felt relaxed, the instructors explained everything, demonstrated technique and were really helpful and friendly! Both Chrisos and Ben gave you tips and support, ready for the competition at the end. Couldn't recommend them enough!
