There was a flasher hanging about in the wooded area. He flashed me then followed me through the bushes to flash me again luckily he didn't leave the bushes but i got an eyeful which was upsetting considering the only view i wanted was one of this nice park. I reported it to the police with hopes that he'll be dealt with...

Enjoyable stroll on a fresh day. I used to walk around and feed the ducks 50 years ago as a child so brought back memories. The park is well maintained with ample parking close by.

The visit to the park was something special to all of us, as we could only travel locally.
There was a lake with Canadian Geese on it........there were also pigeons around as well with benches for people to sit down on *** it was nice to get out in the fresh air for a change.

Very nice park. Not as big as Heaton park but not small as well. You can spend couple of hours exercising or relaxing on the benches. Nice lake with ducks and swans. Kids will have fun too.

We strolled throughout this spacious park, enjoying the walking paths, admiring the birds and beautiful trees and ran through the grass areas while others sunbathed and played. What a peaceful place to enjoy lunch on a park bench and bring kids and dogs to play. Everyone was respectful of social distancing with plenty of room to bike, run, exercise, lounge and picnic.

As a manual wheelchair user,I find Alexandra park quite difficult to get around because the paths are not straight there is a big rise in the middle which makes you steer off into another direction which is fine if you have good upper arm muscle but not if your arms affected by your disability to.
some of the terrain around the lake is very rough and difficult as well,it all needs an overhaul.
Cyclists need to be giving wheelchairs distance as they go around,as I’ve had two times now where they have gone past at speed and hit my wheel, causing me even more pain.
As for the nature,it’s beautiful there, The Lake terrapins during the summer are always a people pleaser.
During the Covid 19 situation, I have never seen the park so full, people barbecuing and lots of groups together.
It’s a great park for photography,the annual car boot sale season is a must do, and the Caribbean festival is a must see.

Parque de Estilo Victoriano abierto al público a mediados el Siglo XIX y restaurado por última vez en el año 2014. El parque ofrece café, zona para pic nic, aseos, zona para juegos y vestuarios.
Hacia una esquina del parque se encuentra el estanque, con numerosas especies que viven permanentemente.
El parque es muy bonito, pero se encuentra en uno de los barrios periféricos, con lo que no es una visita forzosa

Nice park, a little bit large, good enough for biking and walking. There's a play area for kids and a nice little lake with ducks in. There are a few benches around if you want to have a sit down and a large areas of grass and trees to play football or some other game. Can be crowded sometimes, though. It doesn't have much natural beauty, but instead its beauty is in its play areas. Can be dirty sometimes. Decent place for little kids and to have a 30-minute walk around the park but it doesn't make you say, "Wow, that's a beautiful sight!" and isn't really exciting.

We went here recently to have a walk round and see the Carnival that was on. The park is nice, with a couple of lakes and quite big so good for a gentle stroll. There is also a little park for toddlers. Worth a visit when the weather is ok, will be really nice when the sun is out there. Carnival was a bit naff!
