Most of the square itself is cordoned off as the town hall and cobbled square gets a well-deserved make-over. Due to be re-opened next summer though two sides doe have hospitality outlets unaffected.

So I came to Manchester for the day out with a family member (can't say which one it was as that is private!)
Albert Square is nice, lively and busy. Pavements are clean too, not much litter.

Albert Square in Manchester is in the city centre. It is a very short distance from St Peter's Square and adjacent to the Town Hall.
This is currently being restored so you cannot get to see this. Albert Square is also cordonned off but you can still make out some of the statues in the square.

Absolutely love this, as our go to place at the weekend after a full on week at work. Chilled and the most friendliest staff including Anna and Katie, nothing is too much trouble , and perfect, delicious food/service and you are made to feel you are someone special on these uncertain times . If you want to feel special this is the place to be . Love you guys and thank you xx🥰

Albert Schloss is on of our favourite place to go on a Sunday for brunch. My husband and I visited yesterday for lunch. The food was ok. But I was very disappointed by the lack of social distancing among a group at the restaurant. There were approximately 18 people split between 3 tables who were there to celebrate a birthday. They were moving between tables and were clearly not from the one household. In light of the recent additional restrictions imposed on Manchester with regards to two households not meeting in doors, I think it was very irresponsible of the restaurant to allow this to happen.

Questa indubbiamente è la piazza più bella di Manchester, il suo biglietto da visita, durante la mia visita era chiusa per lavori , ma la sua alta torre dell'orologio svetta imponente. Passeggiando una visita a questo bel monumento si può fare.

Lovely collection of Christmas markets throughout this square, and usually have the Christmas light switch on here. Lovely town square littered with restaurants/bars around also!

Βαδίζοντας στο κέντρο του Μάντσεστερ τον Απρίλιο του 2018 έφθασα στην εντυπωσιακή αυτή πλατεία με το αξιοθαύμαστο κτίριο του Δημαρχείου και το αγαλμα του πρίγκιπα Albert. Παρέμεινα αρκετό χρόνο για να θαυμασω από κοντά όλα τα αξιοθέατα.

I have no idea. I always watch from the hillside in Belmont.
You can any fireworks going off in Boton, Liverpool and Manchester for free.
