“Great experience, especially from John”

สนุกจริงๆกับกิ๊กที่ฉันเคยเข้าร่วมที่นี่ เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ใกล้ชิดน้อยกว่าสถานที่อื่นๆ ประสบการณ์ได้รับการปรับปรุงโดยคนที่ทำงานที่นั่น ชื่อของเขาคือจอห์น & เขาเป็นทรัพย์สินที่สมบูรณ์ของทีม 02 เขาไปไกลเกินกว่าที่ใครจะคาดคิดในแง่ของการบริการลูกค้า ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรมากเกินไป เขาเป็นมิตรมาก & แม้กระทั่งออกมาข้างนอกท่ามกลางสายฝนที่โปรยปรายเพื่อแจกเสื้อปอนโชกันน้ำให้กับคนที่เปียกโชก & เขาเป็นคนเดียวที่ทำเช่นนั้น เมื่อเราเข้าไปในอาคาร เราเป็นคนเดียวที่มีท่าทีเป็นมิตรต้อนรับทุกคนที่เข้ามา

Great experience, especially from John

Really enjoyed thd gigs that I've attended here. It's a smaller so much more intimate experience than other venues. The experience was enhanced by one if the guys who worked there. His name was John & he is an absolute asset to the 02 team. He went far above & beyond anyone could expect in terms of customer service, Nothing was too much trouble. He was so friendly & even came outside in the pouring rain to hand out waterproof ponchos to those getting soaked & he was the only one doing that. When we entered the building we was the only one with a friendly attitude welcoming every single person entering.

Small venue

Small venue with not much space to move around due to location of bars. Good area upstairs with seating and fewer people which makes the experience more relaxing. Easy to find. Friendly staff

One of the Best Venues in Manchester!

One of the best gig venues in Manchester! Attended multiple gigs at The Ritz and never once had to queue to get in or for a drink, with multiple bars around the sides of the venue, including another downstairs in the basement, it has far more bars than any other venue I’ve attended.

Security have always been welcoming and once inside has always had a good vibe to it. Never feels too overly crowded, unlike other venues. It ticks pretty much all the boxes for a great venue to me!

The only downside is the price of the drinks and the clock room. You’d expect to pay more for drinks at gigs, but The Ritz is noticeably more expensive than other venues in the area.

Overall though, it’s an amazing venue, who book great acts each year. A personal favourite venue of mine.

Good venue and fantastic Staff

Had a great time at a concert, Acoustics were good and its a perfect size for a electric atmosphere whilst still feeling intimate. The staff were fantastic, Due to a disability I usie a walking stick and the staff without prompting asked if I needed a stool, at which point they led me to a seated area. When the gig ended again without asking they escorted me through the staff area to avoid the leaving crowd.

I was worried about how I would manage my disability at the gig but all worries were unfounded due to the fantastic staff and I know I can go there again without worry.

Wonderful gig venue but beware beer prices

What a fabulous venue. Lovely inside with great acoustics and not too great a capacity.

Clearly was a theatre once upon a time so beautiful inside.

My only issue was the cost of drinks. Two pints of real ale was £14.60 which is a terrible price even for a music venue.

Despite this loved the place

Decent venue, terrible security.
I visited this venue to see Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and R.A. The Rugged man. I travel to Manchester quite a lot for gigs and the security are always pleasant and professional, until tonight.
The security were rude and overly aggressive. I’m in my 50s and I don’t expect to pay an entrance fee to be pushed around by thugs in uniform. Numerous times I saw the security barging through the crowd knocking people out the way. And this wasn’t to attend to an emergency, they just wanted to move around. While queuing for the bar, one of the security almost knocked my wife of her feet pushing past her in an aggressive manner. The security were so bad even one of the performers almost ended up in a physical altercation with one of them.
I’ve been traveling to Manchester for 25 years to see bands, and this is the only time I’ve seen security behave this badly at an event there.

Long queues. No WiFi. Avoid!

Dreadful venue. The WiFi signal is awful. Don’t bother buying a ticket for a show unless you’re on the O2 mobile phone network as they let in all the O2 customers first, which means you’ll be standing right at the back, even if you have been queuing for two hours. The queues to get in are simply horrendous and the security staff are really unpleasant and hostile. There are much better venues. This is one to avoid.

Great evening, and a privilege to see the wonderful Lucinda Williams, on 22/01/2023, at the Manchester 02 Ritz. Staff were super helpful, and found a good seat for my partner, Thank you 👍 The view from the balcony was excellent, the bar Staff upstairs were a good bunch too. It’s a fairly small venue, I think about 1500 in total, so wherever you are, it’s a reasonable view. Ideally located one minute from Manchester Oxford Road Station.
Theatre VERY cold, so all the audience kept their coats on throughout, but as stated all Staff really helpful and nice👌👌

Saw The Rasmus on Halloween, and having made enquiries about when they were coming on stage so I could time my arrival and avoid standing for a long time due to my disability, the staff offered me a stool. I can only say THANK YOU for this… it made such a huge difference and I throughly enjoyed the entire show, the stool you provided made this possible, and I finally got to see The Rasmus live, having seen them as a support act in 2001 in Scandinavia.

So good to know those of us with disabilities can still enjoy concert’s.
