I arranged this wild camping trip for my husband and teenage son. Ian was very accommodating to all our needs for dates, number of nights and location. We had good kit list and information in advance. The actual trip was a real hit. They were lucky to have two dry nights and loved the experience of hiking out sleeping in the wild. The guide Scott was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The boys came home totally exhausted but really loved the whole experience.

Superb day's walking in Offa's Dyke. The guides were knowledgable and friendly. Lovely countryside and a great day.

We enjoyed the Edale Hills trek on 14th August 2021 with Ian and his team. We had a large group of 33 volunteers. Ian was a real star throughout the day; from giving a briefing to the participants till the end of the trek. Ian showed great leadership and helped the group at difficult times. We had excellent feedback from the participants!

Fantastic guided walk around Newborough Forest and the beach near Malltraeth. Ian’s knowledge of the flora & fauna as well as the history and geography of the area made for a thoroughly enjoyable 5 hours.

We enjoyed a sunny day out in the Derbyshire countryside around Matlock Bath, Middleton and Cromford with our guide Becki who was familiar with the local area and able to share points of interest. As a mixed ability group of ten, Becki did well to offer a gentle-paced walk along with more challenging elements for our fitter walkers and regularly offered water top-ups and stops in the shade as it was a particularly hot day.
The team had booked a super pub for lunch half way along the route and Becki – who is very personable - was a lovely addition to our party.

Ian was excellent leading and navigating our schools National 3 Peaks trip. We did the walks over 3 days and Ian was great to work with, he provided detailed route cards in advance and brought all the necessary safety equipment. Ian was very popular with the pupils and I am looking forward to working with him again next year!

Ian guided me and four friends on a beautiful 20k loop of the south peak district.
Very knowledgeable, easy-going, personable and just really a great bloke to walk with.

Ian simply excelled as both a trek leader/planner with consummate navigation skills and as a knowledgable guide with detailed knowledge of the local topography, flora and fauna. I would highly recommend Ian for group or individual treks and will certainly book another hiking adventure with him in the future.

Hi Denise, apologies for the delayed answer, I am just back from leading an expedition in Uganda and we didn't have much internet access. At the moment I don't have an existing timetable I just book individual or groups in on trips on dates that suit them. Azril, I am very sorry for the delay, I have been in Uganda on expedition with no internet access. I am more than happy to run walks and tours all the year round. I am limited by the conditions of the Mountain Leader Award and as mine is a Summer award I would be restricted in terms of ground conditions if there was very heavy snow for example. Hi Simran, apologies for the slight delay in replying. 9am to 5pm would be fine for a day tour of the Peak District although you could easily spend 2-3 days exploring the area. For a tour of Manchester city itself one day would also be appropriate. The cost for a full day is £100 for Manchester and the Peak District or £120 for the Lake District or Snowdonia. In Manchester the majority of the tour can be completed on foot or public transport, for the Peak District I could provide some transport options.
