Get your ticket at the Batorama Promenade, not the Tourist Office!

On the first sunny day in Strasbourg during my stay, I made the mistake of following my GPS to the tourist office to book this boat ride. I got there around noon, and the clerk told me the first available trip was at 17.00. There were earlier times noted on the sign, and when I asked, she told me they were all full. So, I booked the 17.00 trip. As I'm walking around Strasbourg, I see the actual quai the boats leave from. One of them is just leaving and it's NOT full!. I ask the boat worker if I can queue up for the next one and trade in my ticket if it's not full. He said sure. However, when I queue up, this boat is full, because there is a ticket stop right there at the quai, and it shows how many seats are still available on the ride, and people who are just happening by, or know better, are purchasing their tickets there because it's a nice day! Why the Tourist Office clerk told me boats were full when they clearly weren't is a mystery, but it's so easy to go directly the the Batorama Promenade quai and purchase your ticket. You likely won't have to wait!

The ride is great, btw, and well worth the $$$. Highly recommend!

Je signale à l homme d equipage assis devant mon épouse, que celle ci est mal voyante
Il bouge pas et m envoie paître comme une vache
Il pouvais très bien proposer à mon epouse pmr une solution adéquate à son handicap
Excuser pour les profanes de Batorama veuillez regardez sur le dictionnaire la définition adéquate
Mon épouse est pmr personne à mobilité réduite
Ce membre d équipage est une ppr

Billet facile à prendre. Audio rama multilangue avec écouteurs recyclables. Belle visite commentée mais uniquement sur un circuit(pas le choix). Par contre attention climatisation à fond même en février. Très désagréable à proximité des vitres. Bien se munir.

Al prezzo di 11,50 euro a persona ci siamo goduti la crociera... europea, che porta fino ai palazzi delle istituzioni dell'UE, dopo aver raggiunto la Petite France. Il tutto con l'accompagnamento di un'ottima audioguida multilingue, italiano compreso. Da fare assolutamente visitando Strasburgo, sono 45 minuti molto interessanti e spesi ottimamente. Davvero!

This is a must do here. The boats leave mainly on the half hour and all follow the same route through locks etc It is worthwhile considering though, if it is a hot day ,to take the air conditioned option. You can bake a little in the sun if you don't.
