A very nice cave. Tour takes +/- 30 minutes. We had a Dutch Guide which was very nice. Elisabeth could tell an awful lot about the ground. Definitely an added value!

Exceptional site. Immersion in the heart of a cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites. We were fortunate to have a super passionate Guide who captivated us throughout the tour.

We came out a little frustrated with this visit where we found ourselves at the end of the line, 25 people per group apparently.... that's way too much! We heard absolutely NOTHING or saw 😭😭😭 from the beginning of the tour the Guide stops and seems to deliver a lot of information but we, at the end of the queue have the right to stereo with a group coming out on one side and our Guide at the head of queue with 21 people in front of us! That sounded nice, but I won't be able to say anything!
We told the Guide that we didn't hear or see anything, he tried to get people moving as much as possible. The tour groups are definitely too big.

What a beautiful cave!
The cave is above ground in a huge large rock face.
We once really liked that it is a narrow cave where you can view and walk past very close to everything.
Our Dutch Guide Elisabeth was really a huge added value, so we could really understand everything for once. Also our daughter of 10 thought it was super fun and interesting. Highly recommended!

Very small cave visited in 25 minutes instead of an hour as indicated.

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de laisser un avis. La visite dure 40 mn et comme nous avons un départ toutes les 15 mn donc une visite immédiatement devant, il est difficile de faire moins.

As English speaking tourists we went to visit this cave. We have been coming to france for over 15years and visited plenty of caves during our time and have always been accommodated re language. We bought our tickets, spoke to the staff member who was kind and spoke English. On arrival to our tour guide she explained to us that the tour would be in french as there was 3 French tourists alongside us. Although there was 7 English speaking. We had not been informed this when paying for our tickets that this would be the case. We were understanding as we are in France after all! When entering the cave (5 adults, one of whom has poor mobility and is 83 years old) we were walking slowly and suddenly heard a staff member who was finishing up a tour speak very sternly to us in french. She then began to speak English shouting at us to keep up with the group and telling us we were holding up her group. We had not been told to keep up with our guide as she was speaking French. Our elderly grandparent was quite embarrassed about this and we were all in shock with the way this staff member (Elizabeth) spoke. We have NEVER experienced anything like this before. As I said at the start we have been visiting France for many years and have gone to plenty tours of caves. We will certainly not be returning and would like to inform anyone of poor mobility to beware of this situation especially Elizabeth.

A little-known cave but rather nice to visit because it is atypical, unlike the others, here the ceiling is just above your head (be careful if you are 2m tall 😅)

Beautiful small cave with rare triangular and pyramidal calcite formations. But disappointed with the visit at a run rate and the protective grilles which spoil the place… Also disappointed with the visit to the Laugerie Basse shelters without a guided tour possible! What a pity !

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de laisser un avis. Les filets de protection sont là non pour vous gâcher la vue mais pour protéger les concrétions de gestes indélicats irréversibles. Sur le parcours de visite des abris, des pupitres tactiles permettent de recueillir des informations complètes et si on prend le temps de les lire et d'observer les reproductions d'objets trouvés lors des fouilles, la visite prend facilement 40 mn sans compter le film 3D de 15 mn.

Ist diese Höhle für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung geeignet. Sind es viele Stufen und ein weiter Weg?

300 mètres à marcher sur un chemin à forte pente puis une trentaine de marche pour atteindre la grotte. L’intérieur de la grotte est plat et il y a une main courante pour s’y tenir si besoin.

Hello, I don't think booking is necessary but there is a phone number and contact form on the website if you want to email them to check.
For the record I disagree with the reply below particularly if your interest is stalactites & stalagmites since there are forms here that cannot be seen anywhere else. Not a large cave but unique! Fascinating! Enjoy!
