Your day was private and included a private chauffeur who is also a translator/ guide and champagne expert. Your day also included tours and tastings of 3-4 glasses of different types of high end champagne. You tried vintage champagne at Veuve Clicquot and saw the gorgeous caves of Moet et Chandon. Lunch we love for you to choose whatever you feel like during the day and the 1 Michelin star I hope you enjoyed! Your pricing was 399€ per person to 565€ per person all of that included. Please note other companies/ chauffeurs charge that for the driver only and no tastings included. Your day was timed out so it should not have been rushed, I'm sorry to hear you feel like it was! The guide sits w/ you during the tasting to teach you all about bubble size, color, quality, etc. You can always tell her if you want more/ less info or more alone time! I wish you would have chosen to taste with the growers in the countryside as that is where the passion of the region lies and where you get to taste even more bubbly! We reserved Moet et Chandon and Veuve per your desires which are gorgeous houses. We are deeply sorry we did not meet with your expectations but sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity to regain your confidence if you are in France in the future! Assailly was one of my fav. champagne producers of the last 2 years. 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru Avize in Cote de Blanc. One the best "terroir's" in all of champagne w/ notes of strawberry, ash, cherry how can you go wrong?! Champagne Mousse also leaves me speechless. His champagne is so beautiful fresh, and INSANELY ELEGANT and well made! I adore both of those and so glad you tasted them! Sydney
