What an amazing shop. I have been going for 5 years and have many items. None of them soldiers but Paris citizens/scenes, Bicycle riders and more in miniature Its a fascinating shop. Just browse and you will be addicted. Just got back from my yearly trip and added 3 new pieces to my collections.

For a collector of French toy soldiers this store is a gem. It’s super small, but the woman who runs it is very helpful. Most of the figures in the shop are produced by a company called CBG Mignot, which has been making toy soldiers since the 18th century (although it started under a different name). If you don’t see what you want they can order any sets in the Mignot catalogue. Even if you don’t collect it’s an interesting excursion into the world of hand painted miniatures.

This was out favourite Toy Soldier shop in Paris, Even if you are not a collector there is so much to look at and see, its a bit like a museum, full of history and interest. There are also some lovely modern pieces such as Christmas decorations that would suit (mind you they are more like art pieces so not cheap). You could easily spend a half an hour there even though its a tiny shop. We found the proprietor lovely to deal with. She spoke good English and was extremely helpful. She packed all our purchases very well so we had no breakages on our way back to Australia. The prices were reasonable (unlike some other places). This was a delight! I was generously helped by a very kind, funny and sharp lady at this shop. Beautiful displays. I was encouraged to linger and I did. On top of all this, the soldiers I bought would probably have cost twice in the USA what I paid for them. If you collect toy soldiers, do not consider missing a visit to this shop, one of the few left anywhere. If you don't collect, go anyway! A unique shopping experience in Paris...

Cette boutique près du marché Saint Germain est spécialisée dans les collections de figurines en étain . Bien entendu les soldats , mais aussi les cyclistes , les skieurs année 30 (magnifique collection) etc... Les prix sont assez élevés mais ce sont des objets de collection très bien réalisés "à l'ancienne"

La verdad encontré esta antiquísima tienda de venta de "soldaditos de plomo" por casualidad, mientras estaba perdido buscando el café Le Procope…y resultó siendo uno de los lugares más entrañables de mi visita a Paris. Es una tienda pequeña como decía, pero está repleta de figuras de plomo, desde individuales hasta grandes batallas armadas. Reproducen desde héroes de la antigüedad (ej, Vercingétorix) hasta soldados de las guerras mundiales, pasando por todas las épocas…. Coleccionistas en general, nostálgicos jóvenes o ya crecidos, no se lo pierdan...

They make their own stuff, the prices are reasonable, and the lady at the counter is a member of the family. An outstanding collection. Highly recommended.

This quaint little store tucked amid restaurants on Rue Guiscarde (near St. Sulpice) has a good selection of toy soldiers for fans and collectors. Reasonable prices. Not open every day, and sometimes only for a few hours per day; need to check the hours.
