とても大規模な切手市でした。土日の朝9時ごろから お店が立ち始めます。値打ちがわからないのですが とっても高い値段をつけているものもありました。一方で 袋で量り売りになっているものもあって 散歩しているだけで たのしかったです

Nel mio soggiorno Parigino, da buon filatelico, non poteva mancare un puntata in questo famigerato mercatino, uno dei più antichi. Mi aspettavo molto di più sono onesto. Poche bancarelle sia il giovedì che la domenica, commercianti sgarbati. non tutti. Bisogna essere veri appassionati, per la cronaca francobolli italiani se ne trovano veramente pochi, anche se un paio di affari li ho fatti. Prezzi alti. Bisogna essere proprio fissati, altrimenti c'è tanto altro da fare a Parigi.

Started in 1887, and about half of its former size, the outdoor Paris Stamp Market still has about 20 licensed stalls selling stamps, postcards and phone cards to collectors and curious visitors on Thursdays and weekends. Though the emphasis is on the French, DOM-TOM and thematic stamps on display, many dealers have items from other countries, though perhaps hidden in boxes still in the van or under the table. It helps to know the French names of the countries and items you are looking for. The dealers' expertise also focuses on French collectables and patient, knowledgeable collectors of non-French items may yet find bargains. Prices are generally negotiable but misinformed haggling will be treated with contempt. Delightful images from past eras can be found among the postcards and make interesting souvenirs even for non-collectors. Trying to find or purchase items over lunchtime can be frustrating as dealers gather to share wine, bread and cheese, discuss their latest finds or play cards, but perhaps you should take a hint then and retire to a bistro or picnic on the adjacent grass.

A chi nella vita non è mai capitato di aver visitato Parigi almeno una volta? E chi di voi ha un hobby, una passione, o qualcosa cui dedica tanto tempo? Beh, noi siamo grandi collezionisti di francobolli e nel Marché aux Timbres di Parigi abbiamo trovato una vera e propria miniera. Arrivando con la metropolitana 1 (linea gialla) e scendendo alla fermata Champs Elysées-Clemenceau, troverete di fronte il teatro Marigny (Avenue Gabriel) e più spostato sulla destra il Palazzo dell'Eliseo, sede del Presidente Hollande!! Proprio là dietro, in una viottola chiusa al traffico cioè Avenue de Marigny, troverete il mercatino dei francobolli. Ci sono varie bancarelle e ci si perde letteralmente... si potrebbero passare ore e ore in mezzo a quella meraviglia!! Per noi è tappa fissa quando andiamo a Parigi, e lo sarà anche nei prossimi giorni!
Andateci, il Marché aux Timbres c'è sempre il giovedì, sabato e domenica, dalle 09.00/10.00 fino al tardo pomeriggio.
