My daughter and I did the Versailles horseback riding excursion with Camile. She was wonderful! The whole experience was fantastic. The owner, Baptiste, was very flexible with our plans as we had to make a last minute change due to a delayed flight. I highly recommend this unique excursion!

Beautiful experience in Paris,
We did walk,trot, and canter around Park of Versailles
Baptiste (the guide) He’s really helpful, funny, and he really know what he’s doing.
I always want to do horse riding in Versailles park
Thanks to make my “Dream come true”
I definitely will come back for another trip.

Amazing experience

We have been on many riding adventures on our holidays all over the world and we can hands down say this was THE BEST!

Once our instructor got a professional view on our riding we were given full access to gallop and explore the whole of Versailles gardens.

We never heard ‘no’ throughout our whole experience and the horses were schooled to perfection. We still maintained that constant feel of excitement of going full speed but with that knowledge you could trust your steed.

Would highly recommend to any equestrian looking for that thrill and experience of feeling like a king/queen galloping through the gardens.

What a ride! 100% recommended!

It was a pleasure to canter through the Gardens of Versailles. Baptiste is a very nice and knowledgeable guide. The horses were calm and handsome to handle but nevertheless fresh and fast forward. It is clear that they are in good condition and are treated very well.
I will be back for this experience for sure!

Wonderful Experience, highly recommend it!

What a wonderful time! We met the guide at the Park (where French kings had hunted). The Park is also known as the "green lungs of Paris" similar to Central Park in USA. After the trail ride we were treated to a picnic next to a lake WITH DUCKS! Our guide was kind enough to give us a ride to the metro.

Great riding experience

This was a great riding experience, and I’ve ridden in many places around the world. I took a taxi from Paris and met the owner, Baptiste, at the queens gate which is near the Palace. He trailers the horses into the park from there. It was a 2 hour private ride with lots of cantering! The grounds are a fabulous place to ride - just endless fields lined by massive trees with the Versailles palace in the background. My horse was fit and well behaved and I enjoyed him very much. Advanced riders would enjoy this ride a lot - it was not a boring ride by any means! At the end Baptiste sets up a small picnic with bread, cheese, and wine/juice. Then he trailers you back to the Gate where you can take a taxi or the train back. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to ride on holiday.

A MUST DO IN FRANCE! Magnificent Versailles Palace ride was breath taking.

We did a 2 hour trail ride at the Versailles Palace. Baptiste was our guide. This was the best experience we have had during our France vacation and it has been the top international riding experience I have ever had in my life. We were welcomed with a small picnic style table and had refreshments and snacks before the ride. The equipment helmets/chaps/saddles were brand new and clean. The saddles were the most comfortable saddles we have ever ridden in during our international travels. The horses are a mix between French trotters, Spanish and Arab breeds. The behavior and the training of the horses is immaculate and we felt extremely safe during the whole ride. Baptiste always had his eyes on us and he is a very friendly guide who speaks fluent English. His horses are very healthly and shiny/clean. Thank you so much for this magnificent experience. I recommended this activity to families and riders of all experience levels. The horses are so safe even an absolute beginner who never rode a horse before can do this activity. Simply the best France has to offer on horseback!

Excellent experience

Our experience was phenomenal. Baptiste was excellent and very professional. The ride was with me and my 11 year old daughter and both of us are inexperienced, he was gentle and made the ride enjoyable and smooth. We will definitely live to do this again whenever we return to visit France.

A wonderful way to experience the ground of Versaille

This was a wonderful experience. I didn't know what to expect and was a little worried because I added my husband to the ride. He doesn't have a lot of riding experience but he had been taking English lessons. So many other horse places are strict and paranoid with novice riders, but fortunately, Baptiste our guide, is a good judge of character and riding ability. He is also laid back and not uptight like some guides. He gave my husband some tips and off we went running through the beautiful Versailles Palace grounds. I think it was the most enjoyable horse riding experience my husband has had so far.

This ride was easily the best part of my trip to Paris, as I'm more of a fan of natural beauty and experiencing fun and adventure on the back of a horse. If I had the time I'd have tried to visit all the different places that Horse in the City offers. This is a must do in my book, and if I visit Paris again in the future, you can be sure I will try to get another ride with Horse in the City.

Wonderful Riding Experience

This was the second time my wife has ridden with Jean Baptiste at Versailles and it was as great as before.
The ride takes about 2 hours and is mostly done at a gallop, which is fine as my wife is an experienced rider.
The grounds of Versailles are beautiful, which makes the riding experience superb.
