We did the Paris Coffee Tour when it was brand new and just being launched. Our guide was very pleasant and energetic and had done a lot of preparation to provide us with interesting and detailed information about the history of coffee in the world, France, and Paris. I found the historical information part of the tour very thorough and interesting, and since I am myself a coffee lover, it was fascinating to learn about and expand my knowledge as a coffee drinker. At the same time, the tour incorporated walking and sight visits at many places across Paris to integrate with and provide context for the educational, historical information about coffee. We toured areas, streets, and buildings that were important in the history and trade of coffee in Paris but that also showed the importance of coffee in the broader cultural history of Paris including of its leaders and power brokers.
