We paid the chapel a flying visit on our way to the Medieval City, it really is a hidden gem.
This chapel was built by the congregation of the Dominican sisters in 1860, on the Gothic Languedoc style that was very popular with other religious sites in the city at the time of the second Napoleonic Empire.
It has a lovely central stained-glass window, and the rest of the interior is painted chalk white. In the past it was used as a girl’s school, but today it is a place for cultural events, like art exhibitions of local Occitan and Catalan artists.
When we were there was a collection of black and white photos on the one wall, and an interesting collection of Grain storage silos paintings on another.
TIP: Good place to take a small break from the sun on a hot day, and its free.

Capilla dominicana de estrecha pero bonita fachada. No ofrece servicios religiosos, tan sólo exposiciones. Horario de lunes a viernes de 8,30 a 12,30 y de 13,30 a 17,30 horas. Los viernes cierra a las 16 horas. Para visitar si te interesa la exposición temporal que haya expuesta.

è un luogo storico interessante utilizzato però come luogo espositivo per mostre di lavoretti destinati a raccolte fondi o finanziamenti missionari o altro.
Non è una priorità nella visita , ma visto che vi ha dimorato San Domenico e che si trova sulla via principale, un giretto gratuito lo si può fare senza impegno.

La capilla es sencilla, pero convertida en exposiciones temporales. Está bien conservada y si estás en la ciudad es una recomendación el que la visites.

Recorriendo la Rue de Verdun, vimos con horror como una pequeña pero preciosa capilla fue desacralizada ( algo muy comun ahora en Francia, he visto varias ), vaciada y transformada en un centro de exposiciones temporales. Su fachada se mantiene intacta, como asi tambien su vidriera.
Eso si, debo reconocer que la exposicion era muy buena, con una atencion excelente y gratuita !

Es una capilla que ha sido reformada en varias ocasiones y que no presenta un gran interés salvo por las exposiciones temporales que se suelen realizar en su interior.

Esta capilla se encuentra en el centro de la moderna ciudad de Carcassonne. En el interior en navidad había una exposición interesante de diferentes Belenes de otras partes del mundo.
