This is a lovely square in the centre of town. It is in fact triangular and used to be an important crossroads. There is a very attractive fountain and area is pedestrian

Une des nombreuses places triangulaires de Toulouse, agrémentée d’une fontaine en son centre. Aménagée au début du XIXe siècle elle a conservé de très beaux immeubles de cette époque et d’autres plus récents. Les nombreuses terrasses qui empiètent sur la place contribuent à l’animer et à en faire une des plus agréables de la ville rose.

Since the Middle Ages, there has only been a small square here, it is named after the Trinitarians monks, who established a monastery here in 15th century, and like all religious organizations it disappeared during the French revolution in 1790.
A mill was built on the site, but this was destroyed to enlarge the square, by City of Toulouse architect Jacques-Pascal Virebent in 1820.
In 1827 an ornamental fountain representing the Three Graces, was erected by the architect Urbain Vitry. The statues of the three Graces were created by artist Louis-Alexandre Romagnesi in the image of bronze winged mermaids that are resting on a central pillar in the middle of the marble basin surrounded by three steps.
This is a very popular spot for people to sit and enjoy lunch. With its pedestrian walkway created in the 1990s, and surrounded by shops and cafes with outside seating it is one of Toulouses prettiest squares.
Also, since 2005 the square regularly hostess Balls and similar events, particularly in summer

Petite place à la croisée des rues commerçantes et gourmandes. De belles façades et des bars sont plutôt jeunes. On a ensuite le choix de poursuivre vers les endroits clés de la ville : Capitole par la rue St Rome, Saint Étienne par la rue Croix Baragnon ou les Carmes...
Bref, c’est un carrefour pour décider de son destin, avant une soirée qui peut être longue !

Na toto malé náměstíčko jsem se během svého krátkého pobytu vracela. Působilo na mě klidem nikterak hektického života, a to i přes to, že není nijak daleko od centra města a v podstatě hned vedle velice frekventované ulice.

オーギュスタン美術館の近くにあります。中央に噴水のようなものがあり、広場の周囲はカラフルな家が取り囲んでいます。正直我々観光客が「綺麗だなあ」と思う広場です。観光客も多かったです。

Der hübsche dreieckige Platz mit den Caféterrassen ist benannt nach den früher hier ansässigen Trinitarierinnen. Das Kloster ist längst aufgelassen, und 1820 schuf Vitry den schönen Brunnen mit den Sirenen, um diesem wichtigen Kreuzungspunkt der beiden Hauptstraßen mehr Glanz zu verleihen.

Pequeña plaza triangular donde se encuentran algunos comercios y restaurantes para tomar algo, lo único destacable es la Fontaine de la Trinité, pero no es que sea una plaza maravillosa, si pasas por ella ni te fijarás en su nombre.
