hello, when we were with guy at the end of april he said they had long term plans for a restaurant but i highly doubt that has come to fruition. they do private dinners at the cave, but that is typically for a larger party. please check my reviews for restaurants in chateauneuf. as to cave du verger des papes, it is true that for some tables the view is excellent, but we found it only good. we did love exploring the ruin of the chateau just above it, guy can also guide you to some excellent gastronomic experiences. i hope this reply addressed your issue. best wishes. mahatma
