Pleasant enough! Needs a little work.

PRO: Our guide (Magdelena??) was very nice.
CON: Unfortunately I could not hear a word she was saying unless I was right next to her and leaning in. Her explanations also seemed a bit vague or incomplete.
PRO:The market we went to was wonderful, I intend to go back and explore it more! And I loved seeing the room & shop where Queen Victoria used to take tea. The candied flowers and fruits were fascinating to learn about and sample.
CONS: Some other guests and I noticed that much of the food we sampled was made in Italy or had more Italian than French background. The guide herself was also Italian. I suppose Nice does have a lot of Italian influence, so this is a soft con.
We also found ourselves a little lost at times, with the guide going way ahead of us in the crowd, or not giving us a good space to stand - in the sun, or in the middle of a path, or in front of an apartment building’s front door (the residents were not very happy).
PRO: The guide was very prepared with everything we could need, from toothpicks to napkins to hand sanitizer to wine glasses.

Overall I think the tour has potential and perhaps just our sweet guide is new or needs some more practice. Guide aside, the only thing I would change is less Italian and more French foods. Oh and olive oil tastings should come with some sort of bread, I didn’t particularly enjoy taking tiny shots of oil. A pleasant time, just needs a bit of improvement.

Great Overview Tour

Our guide was excellent. The group of 12 wasn’t too large, but not small, either. Our experiences were a great way to find new places to visit here in Nice. It would have been 5 star if we had had more interaction with shop owners and if they were more involved in describing what they do.

Fantastic!

This was one of the highlights of my holiday. Really interesting food that I’d never tried before or heard of along with a great history background of why certain foods were used at different points in time. Also an excellent way to introduce you to the market and show some of the best spots without over-doing the market so there were still bits to explore later yourselves. I did this with my mum for her 70th birthday and we both had a really great time. Our tour guide was Marion who was brilliant.

Tasty Foods of Nice Tour is a great way to spend a morning in Nice!

I booked this tour for four of us and it exceeded my expectations. Magdalena chose great little bites of so many interesting foods of Nice! She also provided historical information along the way. We were well entertained for three hours in a beautiful city! Highly recommend!

Fun tour!

Marion's tour was super! She was enthusiastic introducing food and history of Nice. Carefully selectef small bites in many shops and stalls. The only thing was that I should have done this at the beginning of the stay to fully make use of her local knowledge. If you like good food and wine, go for this!

Food tour Nice France

Had a great food tour w Ann! She introduced us to Nice delicacies both sweet and savory. We also got a history lesson on how and why different ingredients became part of the Nicoise cuisine. Had plenty of tastings and will return to some of the market stalls and food stores to purchase gifts to take home. Especially yummy was the pistachio spread! Would recommend this tour to others! Thanks Ann!

Perfect Morning in Nice

Amazing way to explore Vieux Nice! Anne was friendly, knowledgable, and funny. The whole group had a fantastic morning. There were 8 of us total which was a perfect size. I would 100% recommend!

Veramente piacevole

Una bella esperienza, tutti i prodotti provati erano veramente buoni e unici. Molto professionale la guida competente e ben organizzata aveva tutto sotto controllo in maniera gentile e con il classico charme francese.
