Extremely helpful. We asked questions a couple of different days during our visit. Sarah was very knowledgeable and informed of services that we did not even know were available. Highly recommended if you’re unfamiliar with this area.

* The most amazing modern and well-equipped tourist office
* Centrally and conveniently located halfway between the base of Aguille du Midi and the base of Planpraz
* A tremendously big and spacious office for this activity
* Well-appointed and extremely well-equipped for its job
* It has details, maps, brochures and hiking and skiing stuff and souvenirs
* There are multiple many staff people working all at the same time and they are all fluent in English
* These advisors are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful kind understanding and patient
* They are outstanding at personalize the tour vacation experience that the person wants

... to get tourist information on the hikes and to get details so that I could accomplish my goal of using and ascending on every gondola, cable car and chair lift in the entire Chamonix Valley, and to hike also. These English speaking assistants knew everything.
I visited this place in 2014, and nothing had changed- it was fantastic then too

Very good info office with nice, friendly and helpful staff. The map of the peaks is located right in front of the office.

Lost luggage
We managed to leave 2 handbags in a busstop in Argentiere, and an employee with the tourist office personally went to the bus station office in Chamonix to make sure out bags were located and kept safe until we could have DHL pick them up, since we had already returned to Norway.
I would not have expected that from a person working at a tourist office and we are extremely grateful for the help we got.

Unsuitable bus network on the Grand Montets
No direct departure for Chamonix before 2:41 p.m. However, there is no shortage of buses for the tour which pass through the Grand Montets before returning from the tour packed with people!

Some confusion finding and accessing our accommodation booked with the Chamonix tourist office, and they went out of their way to help us! A guy drove personally to Agentiére to find our key, drove back to get us and then took us to our accommodation and helped us get access to our apartment. Excellent client service in a beautiful region !

Well placed and very welcoming, it is appreciable in this "disaster" city because it has become too dense and hectic (constructions/number of tourists) and foreign (English is spoken first before French!). Hmmm... couldn't we go back 30 or 40 years? This observation seems to be shared by many French locals and vacationers.
The professionalism of the staff is high but we were disappointed by the lack of precision regarding the possibilities of access to the Eagle's Nest via the Mont Blanc tramway due to temporary works. Once there at the refuge we realize that the tourist office is a little "off the mark" (night at the refuge = access to the terminus by the mountaineers' train).
Disappointed also on the trail maps, for sale. As presented to the public, we understand nothing about the prices and what we will get. So see you again.
The trail map (purchased) is not efficient (!) and there are gaps (except in the case of the Diosaz gorges in Servoz for example). A good IGN map therefore remains our preference.

Je vous remercie de votre retour d'expérience et je me permets de vous apporter quelques précisions.
Historiquement, Chamonix a toujours été une station internationale et cela fait partie de son ADN.
L'accès au Tramway du Mont-Blanc, plus particulièrement au Nid d'Aigle est restreint du fait des travaux cet été. Il est en effet réservé aux alpinistes ayant une réservation sur certains refuges comme nous avons du vous l'expliquer.
Enfin, nos 2 cartes sentiers, nous permettent de toucher une clientèle très large, l'une s'adressant à des promeneurs plus néophytes et l'autre, avec son fond IGN, à des randonneurs plus avertis.
J'espère que vous avez passé un agréable séjour dans la vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

7月にＴＭＢを計画していますが、観光案内所に山小屋（ボンノム小屋、エリザベッタ小屋、ボナッテイ小屋）の
予約依頼はメールで出来るのでしょうか？
他のシャモニー、コンタミン村。クールマイヨール等はネットでできそうなのですが。
