Quartiere della citta che da sola vale il viaggio per vedere Ulm. Il quartiere si sviluppa fino alle mura dove si può passeggiare e affiancare il Danubio. Il quartiere è ricchissimo di case particolari e tipiche con le travi a vista (a graticcio) che sono stupende. Passeggiare le vie strette circondati da questi edifici è stupendo, sembra quasi di stare in un set cinematografico.

On the one hand, of course, there is a stunning cathedral (which is not even a cathedral, but just a church, just - for a moment - the tallest in the world!). It looks like a rocket that is about to take off from the Earth into space. Inside, I was especially impressed by the wooden choirs, created, according to information from the Internet, from 1469 to 1474 by the master Jörg Zirlin, with carved busts and bas-reliefs of people and fantastic creatures - not a single image is repeated, it is simply beautiful. Stained glass windows - there are several original ones that have survived, but what was used to replace the ones that did not survive is causing protest. This is complete disrespect for the old masters, no attempt to preserve at least the style....
So is the whole center of Ulm. The few remaining charming old half-timbered houses are interspersed with ultra-modern patches... When you see what has been preserved and imagine what it looked like before, it becomes sad. In my opinion, the way the historical center in Ulm was “restored” is a big failure.
Is Ulm worth visiting? Of course, at least for the sake of the cathedral. But don't expect much from the "old town" if you love and are looking for such places... When I think how much beauty was destroyed during the war, I just want to cry...

Das Fischerviertel ist einfach nur schön mit seinen kleinen Geschäften, malerischen Gassen, den kleinen windschiefen alten Häusern und den gemütlichen Restaurants.
Es ist ein Besuch wert!!!

Wir hatten auf Grund der Bewertungen mehr erwartet! Es ist ganz nett aber leider auch nicht mehr alle Häuser historisch und dazu noch recht klein. Wer schon mehr unterwegs war weiß was wir meinen.

Wie hübsch ist das denn ? Erinnert ein wenig an das Elsaß. Kleine Gassen, hübsche Häuser ( vor allem das schiefe Haus) und Brücken .... wenn man in Ulm ist, sollte man auf jeden Fall hierher kommen.

Das Fischerviertel ist schön zum Bummeln und Speisen, es sind eine Menge schön renovierter Häuser zu sehen, aber trotz schönen Wetters wirkte alles relativ leer,
Geschäfte, die tagsüber Kunden anziehen, sind in diesem Viertel eher rar.
Gaststätten gibt es einige, vielleicht ist das Viertel abends lebendiger.
Ein Parkhaus ist als Ausgangspunkt direkt am Anfang des Gebietes verfügbar.

The "Fischerviertel" (Fishermen's Quarter) is a scenic quartier of old Ulm along the Blau river, with several half-timbered houses and the "Schiese Haus" (world record as the most crooked hotel).

Eine der schönsten Altstädte, die ich kenne, gut restauriert, modern trifft alt. Es war schon im März entzückend- wie würde es wohl im Sommer hier aussehen- wahrscheinlich komplett voll. Fisch allerdings habe ich im Fischerviertel kaum gesehen. Also haben wir uns einen sehr schönen Flammkuchen gegönnt
