On eof the most scenic OldTown in Germany, always new parts to discover. We were there many times, still finding not discovered parts in every visit. Beautiful bridges, coloured houses, gates, walls, all are eye catching.

A beautiful, charming old town with cobblestone streets and historical architecture. Definitely a must do while in Nuremberg. It’s great to wander around without a destination and people watch and take in all the sights.

We visited for the day on two occasions, once while the Christmas market was still on and once the week after Christmas. I love Nuremberg because the altstadt combines historic cobblestones and old architecture with modern eateries and great shopping as well as a vibrant street energy. It's a city old town that really merges old and new (as well as old and young) very well.

Nürnberg old town is a very scenic town. It has plenty of old buildings and the location around the Pegnitz river is very nice.

We spent four days in Nuremburg for the opening of the Christmas Markets. The Alstadt was bustling with activity with all the vendors and food stalls. As well, there are a few historic sites nearby, and it was most enjoyable.

E' in gran parte ricostruito, dopo i bombardamenti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Il risultato ottenuto non è forse completamente autentico, ma l'effetto è comunque meraviglioso. Bellissimi i vecchi ponti sul fiume, di diverso tipo.

Had a walking tour which lasted about 2 hours.. there are some magic spots on the river and around.. while much is reconstructed this is a pretty unique medieval alstadt in it size and beauty

We spent a wonderful late summer's morning touring Alstadt and actually wished we had spent more time here. The area has it all...historic buildings, panoramic views, spots by the river, wonderful cafes and interesting shops (a ton of touristy junk too, but I'm focusing on the positives). Highlights would be just walking the streets and enjoying the history and architecture. Definitely a must do if in Bavaria.

it is one of the best places you can visit in Germany. the Altstadt is where you can find cool cafes and other restaurants. i went there and took a lot of good pictures that I consider is a masterpiece to keep me in touch with a such beautiful place

I want to go from Nürnberg Airport to center of Erlangen and I'm wondering about the bus options. There is one app that shows travel options from Nürnberg Airport to Erlangen but there is no train line names or bus names etc. If I can get any help, I would appreciate that.

Здравствуйте, в Альтштадте все парковки платные. Наземных немного и найти свободное место сложно, но есть огромные подземные парковки на 4000 мест, на въезде стоит электронное табло, где указано количество свободных мест. Таких парковок там точно не одна. Въезд туда показан большими указателями. Очень удобно. Также можно оставить машину на ж/д вокзале, стоянка там многоэтажная, в двухсот метрах от входа в ворота Альтштадта.
