The Museum Fur Kommunikation is located on the south side of the Main River and is close to the Stadel Gallery.
I was very impressed with the museum. I do not speak German but there was still plenty for me to learn about as much of the information is in English as well as German. The staff were friendly and welcoming and able to help me despite my language limitations.
There are lockers to put your bag and coat in and I was given a token to use this. There's plenty of interesting displays to check out about many of the ways we have communicated through out history including the television, radio and mobile phones to name just a few.
I particularly enjoyed the sheep display. This really made me laugh.
There's an excellent gift shop as well for different ages and price pockets.
Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

I am a speech therapist so I had to make the trip to this museum, and I’m so glad we did! I particularly loved the radio exhibit on the 2nd floor where I learned a lot about radio communication through the Nazi regime and how it has evolved over time.

Πάρα πολύ ενδιαφέρον μουσείο, διαδραστικό, με πολλές πληροφορίες. Το ποσό του εισιτηρίου ήταν αρκετά χαμηλό (€ 6,00 το άτομο). Αν θες να το δεις ουσιαστικά το μουσείο χρειάζονται σίγουρα 3 ώρες. Βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της πόλης.

Super musée ! Hyper interactif pour les petits comme les grands !
Très interessant pour comprendre l'histoire de nos outils de communication, du téléphone à l'ordinateur, en passant par le courrier postale et autre objets insolites, vraiment AMAZING !!! (desolé je savais pas quoi mettre de plus WAW)

Stand August 2020: Mit Übernahme durch dem derzeitigen Betreiber hat das Cafe stark nachgelassen. Kaffee aus der Maschine schmeckt nicht, Kuchen sind schlechter geworden und überteuert.

Es war sehr schön, es gibt dort Ein Café, und man kann mit anderen Leiten dort Telefonieren. Richtig schön.
