The DenRus folks helped us plan a custom two day tour of St. Petersburg. They
quickly responded to all our questions and fashioned a tour that hit everything on our wish list. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to the pandemic. The DenRus staff were gracious and professional as they quickly granted our refund. I hope we can tour with them in the future.

We booked a tour of Berlin with DenRus separately from our Cruise and we are so thankful that we did! Rather than the large tour company, we had about 12 people together. Our Tour Guide, Boris, was the best guide that we had on our trip. He was able to deliver wonderful perspectives, covering World War II, the Cold War and even present day Germany. He was able to keep us going while being able to deliver a ton of information in a short period of time.
We were able to see most of the top sites in Berlin - Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin Palace, but our favorite was seeing the Memorial to the Murdered Jews in Europe. Quite moving and the weather was appropriate - cloudy and rainy - but was worth the walk to experience it.
I would highly recommend DenRus and Boris, in particular! Well worth the long drive from the port to the city!

We booked 2 one day tours in Saint Petersburg with Denrus. 11 family members in a very comfortable minibus. Our guide was Marsha, our driver Andrew. We saw everything we wanted to see and Marsha's depth of knowledge was amazing. We were blown away

We were recently on a cruise and had only one day, but thankfully 12 hours to see Berlin.
I booked a tour from Warnemunde (where the ship was docking) to Berlin, with Denrus, which is also known as “TJ Travel / Cruising Excursions / Berlin City Tours / Ulko Tours / DenRus”. This cost $312AU for the 2 of us.
Apart from the confusion re. company name (emails came under the name of "Get Your Guide") this proved to be a fantastic tour.
We were picked up at the port at 10am as promised and travelled for 3 hours in a comfortable coach. The coach didn't have any toilet facilities but the driver did make a comfort stop approx. half way.
In Berlin we picked up our guide - Alexander, who spoke very good English.
Unfortunately, we can't remember the names of all the places we visited but Alexander was so knowledgeable about everywhere and seemed to bring all these amazing landmarks to life. We saw Charlottenburg Castle, the awe inspiring monument to the murdered Jews, and a smaller but also inspiring monument to the genocide of the 'Sinti and Roma' (Romany) people.
Time was spent at the site of Hitler's Bunker, the Victory Column, the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, parts of the Berlin Wall, Museum Island, the German Parliament and the Berlin Cathedral to name just a few which we remember!!!
It really was a memorable day, which I would recommend to anyone with only a day in Berlin and an interest in history. Alexander, our guide was simply marvellous. He was not only knowledgeable but patient and very amusing.
We were delivered back to our ship at 10pm having thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We travelled with Denrus to see Berlin while we were on a cruise and I would highly recommend them . They were cheaper than the cruise ship tour and we travelled to Berlin on a bus. Our tour guide was very good....she told us the story of her family's life's in East Berlin which made the whole tour much more meaningful. She gave us lots of information and I enjoyed the tour thoroughly
I know there is a concern if you book private tours while cruising but we were brought back to the ship in plenty of time.

Hi, we (a couple in our 70's) did the Warnemunde tour to Berlin on 20th July 2016. What I can tell you is that we really loved this tour.
We were met at the dock (from our cruise ship) & had a 3 hour drive into Berlin, with comfort stop along the way.
In Berlin we were met by our tour guide (Alexander) who was a genuine history student. His knowledge was wide & deep but he wasn't at all boring.
We saw most of the must see areas of Berlin, had a meal, and were returned to our ship for 10pm.
The price we paid was $312 Aus for the 2 of us. Which we felt was great value for money.
We booked through Berlin City Tours which I came to through Trip Advisor website.
I do hope this info. will be useful to you.
