Super unfriendly staff especially the security guy at the door. Behaves like he owns that place.
Once inside it’s okay music with okay beer and more unfriendly staff.
You can find much nicer places in cologne.

Decent looking place, but extremely unfriendly staff. We thought it was just with us as we were a table of foreigners, but the same attitude was used towards a table of german girls. The waiter, maybe the owner, made it feel like he's made us a favor in accepting us drinking at his bar, and he made sure to remark that at every occasion. Avoid this place.

Wir waren zu viert und wollten letzten Samstag noch auf ein Absacker-Kölsch oder auch 2 vorbeischauen. Es war genau 24 Uhr und die Tische draussen waren schon abgesperrt.Wir haben eine Kellnerin die draussen geraucht hat gefragt, ob wir draussen trotzdem noch was trinken dürfen, es standen auch noch einige Gäste draussen mit Getränk.Sie meinte ja klar kein Problem. Einer von uns ging rein und hat 4 Kölsch gekauft. Leider hat der "nette" Türsteher ihn mit den Kölsch nicht rausgelassen. Uns hat er aber auch nicht reingelassen, weil angeblich zu voll. Als ca. 25 Leute raus waren durfen wir 4 dann rein (wir waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt die einzigen die rein wollten. Unsere 4 Kölsch haben in dieser Zeit leider andere Gäste getrunken.Der Zapfer hat ein volles Rondel dann durch das offene Fenster nach draussen für seine Stammgäste gegeben.Das fanden wir dann unverschämt. Der Türstehen ist unfreundlich und frech!! Schlecht für den Laden!!!

Stopped here for a couple of drinks to get out of the heat. Got an indoor table near the door, sp got the shelter but also still the vibe.
Great music being played. Within seconds the first of many many Kölsch were put before us.
We got there about 4pm and it quickly began filling up. Great atmosphere. We had to leave as we had dinner reservations otherwise I would have very happily stayed

Ich kann leider die negativen Bewertungen nur bestätigen. das gleiche gilt für den Türsteher, welcher der Meinung ist, dass sie den einzigen Laden in Köln hätten! leider benahm er sich mir gegenüber absolut unverständlich. Nu je.... Gott sei dank ist das die Ausnahme in Köln und ich kann nur davon abraten dort hinzugehen.

Der Kellner hinter der Theke ist mega arrogant und abwertend. Er hat uns Frauen an der Theke abgekanzelt und uns zu verstehen gegeben, dass er der Chef im Laden ist. Einen Deckel schreiben hat er nicht akzeptiert und "erwartete" bei jeder Bezahlung des Getränks ein Trinkgeld. In Köln ein absolutes No-Go.

Eine Kulisse für 2G?
Da will ich auch als Genesene nicht mehr hin!
Wer nichts wird, wird Wirt!
Wer heutzutage einfach mitmacht bei diesem Irrsinn, wird hoffentlich irgendwann in einer traurigen Kulisse ohne Gäste das Kölsch verkippen müssen.
1 Punkt, damit suchende Menschen darüber nachdenken, ob sie tatsächlich noch in einer solchen Kontrollgesellschaft ein entspanntes Kölsch trinken wollen.
Da will ich auch als Genesene nicht mehr hin!

Toller Laden, tolle Stimmung die leider tatsächlich vom Toilettenmann versaut wird, der mit einem diskutieren will das man (nicht zuvergessen jedesmal) für die Nutzung einer dreckigen Toilette zahlen soll und wirklich ein unverschämtes und aufdringliches Verhalten an den Tag legt. Selbst für das andere Personal, das man auf dieses Verhalten aufmerksam machen wollte, schien dieses Verhalten vollkommen Inordnung zu sein.

Been to Kulisse a few times on previous holidays to Cologne, always had a good time but our latest visit was a bit strange.
The bar itself is ok,nice decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar that dominates the main room and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it was once a place to relax and chill out in but after our visit not to sure .
We were here on a Tuesday night, bar was packed with a great atmosphere, it being the Christmas period everyone was in a good mood ,my brother and I got a Sünner Kölsch beer each and just chilled out and took in the fun atmosphere in this bar .
There was a group of young lads near us having a good time laughing and joking ,local German lads then one of the staff approached them and after a heated debate over what looked like nothing to me had a bit of a rant at the lads ,cant speak German but you could tell from the sound of his voice that he wasn't happy over something and neither were the lads he reprimanded, it turned out this staff member was unhappy about one of the lads charging his phone in the bar ,pathetic to such an extent that another member of staff smoothed things over and escorted this member of staff away behind the bar hopefully to have words with him,a strange occurrences indeed ,this could easily have escalated but credit due the group of German lads,they laughed it off and moved on after their drinks,we did the same really, moved on to the Irish pub across the way.
This could have been a one off for the bar staff member in question,will probably visit here again on my next trip to Cologne as I genuinely enjoy this bar.

Bouncer wouldn't let me and my boyfriend in. Bouncer stood in our way, when my boyfriend asked why he simply replied "no English" and shook his head,
Clearly not the first time something of a racist nature has happened at this place as a previous reviewer has wrote "I assume this princely treatment is saved for people who are not from Germany."
Stay away, horrible place.
