There really isn’t much to see; it’s worth a stop just for the history. It’s in old town, very close to the market square, so you don’t have to walk out of your way to see it.
It’s now just an archway going over an alley, with a small sign on the wall telling about it.

Es ist gut, sich der reichen jüdischen Kultur zu erinnern, die weit in die Vergangenheit hineinreicht. Gedacht wird hier der Zeit des Mittelalters. Verfolgt, eingeschränkt, diskriminiert wurden sie schon früh, auf die Spitze brachte es das 3. Reich.

Absolutely nothing to see. If you are not actively looking for it, you will never know. The one block area is now mostly “dead”, Covid closed whatever business might have been there. A sign, mostly hidden from the outside, tells a little story. But there is nothing to see, besides knowing Jewish people suffered there. As they did everywhere, always. Leaves you depressed.

Le classiche case con facciate a graticcio che ormano le piazze delle principali città delle valli del Reno e della Mosella. Queste, in particolare, sono molto ricche e ben conservate.

One of the many stunning houses on the cutest market square in Germany. It gives access to the old Jewish quarter. Of course, not much is left of the historic atmosphere, but it is worth to have a look.

Traveled to Trier on a Sunday. the market place is great even though not many businesses were open. there are some beautiful architectural monuments just a few minutes walk away -from roman empire period and others. there are also some nice restaurants around that are open even on Sunday. recommended mostly for sight-seeing.
