Viehrmarkt 근처에 있는 교회
1500년대인가부터 있던 교회라는데,
내부는 리모델링을 했는지 일반 요즘 교회와 그다지 차이가 없어 보인다.
일반 입구는 헤라클레스 분수 반대편으로 가야하고
규모는 큰 편인데,내부엔 별로 특별한 것은 없다.
오른 쪽 벽면의 독서대와 중앙제단 뒤의 부조가 조금 볼만했던 곳

Du coté de la rue Stresemann, il y a une église dénommée St Anthony et dans la rue parallèle appelée rue St Antonius il y a une église dénommée elle aussi St Antonius mais qui semble s'imbriquer dans la précédente. Dans tous les cas, le clocher est commun aux deux églises. Donc, on est en droit de se poser la question suivante: S'agit-il réellement de deux églises distinctes ou d'une seule et même église avec des traductions légèrement différentes. Toutes deux étaient fermées lors de mon passage.

Die kleine "Antonius Kirche" liegt im Stadtteil Trier Nord. Dieses Stadtteil gehört nicht zu den besonders gerne besuchten Stadtteilen. Die kleine Kirche ist noch in Betrieb, es finden Hochzeiten und Taufen statt. Tagsüber findet man an diesem Ort Ruhe vom Trubel der Stadt.

Seeing the white tower of this church while walking towards the Roman Baths on Viehmarkt, we were reminded of some attractive and sober Swedish country churches. The interior was surprisingly different.
Saint Anthony’s was erected between 1458 and 1514, but has undergone many depredations and restorations. The interior was destroyed in 1674 by the French; the whole building was badly damaged in 1944. Today the nave has an intricate net vault, the side aisle a somewhat simpler gothic vault. The church has a few noteworthy 17th and 18th century decorative elements. In a niche-like chapel, there is an 18th century Saint Anthony's grotto with Saint Anthony, accompanied by a pig, flanked by Saint Catherine of Alexandria with a segment of the breaking wheel and a sword to the left and Saint-Carolus Borromeus with a book and a cross to the right. The sculpted rococo pulpit (1762) was transferred here from a demolished Dominican monastery. Not exactly our cup of tea. We preferred the sandstone grave monuments on the wall of the side aisle, said to have been crafted by the workshop of sculptor Hans Rupprecht Hoffmanns, especially the one representing Mayor Cornelius Schott and his wife kneeling at the foot of the cross (1607).
There seem to be two TA entries for this church, one under its German name ‘Pfarrkirche St. Antonius’ on Antoniusstraße 1 (5 reviews), and another under the English translation of the name ‘St. Anthony's Church’ on Stresemannstr. 1 (15 reviews). The church stands on the corner of both streets.

Die katholische Pfarrkirche St. Antonius steht am Viehmarktplatz am Rande der Innenstadt. zwischen 1458 und 1514 Kirche wurde zwischen 1458 und 1514 neben einem heute nicht mehr existierenden Kloster gebaut. Früher außerhalb der Stadtmauer gelegen ist sie heute freizugängig.

This is quite simple church not belonging to the most famous in Trier. It's, incidentally, very rarely visited by the tourists, only occasionally, as in principle happened to me. The church, I liked its restraint, rigor and, perhaps, some austerity in design. But this is austerity of very good level. The only thing that causes some surprise is the very existence in Trier of the church of this Saint, an Egyptian by birth. But as it turned out, nothing strange isn't in this fact. Saint Anthony became the patron of hermits and ascetics. Although the order of his name was created not by his personal initiative. So, in the first years of spreading of Antonits, as they were called, their community appeared in Rome, Milan and Trier!

フィーマルクト広場に面して建つ瀟洒なクリーム色の教会。内部のステンドグラスはそれほど派手なものではありませんが、全体がシックに纏まっていて、好感が持てます。

Вполне рядовая, но милая приходская церковь. Не слишком известная туристам (что и к лучшему), хотя выходит на Viehmarkt – местечко довольно популярное. Но, видимо, чего нет в путеводителях, того просто не существует :).
Между тем, эта кирха имеет редкую архитектурную особенность: у неё 2 нефа. И скруглён западный конец большего нефа, в то время как алтарная (восточная) сторона плоская.
Открыта для посещения до 18 часов.
