Two cathedrals of great importance

You should take plenty of time to visit these two cathedrals. Their dimensions are daunting, but the abundance and wealth of the side altars and chapels in La Seu cannot be missed in a rush. El Pilar does not deserve quite as much attention, but they are buildings of great and lasting importance. The wide and beautiful square in front of and between the two cathedrals is also particularly impressive. Those who are lucky and are spared the rain will be able to experience a high point of Semanta Santa there, when all 25 brotherhoods of the city come together there on Good Friday to the infernal noise of hundreds, if not thousands, of drummers. Which could be a reason to go back in 2025, because that was not the case in 2024.

A real beauty
An unmissable visit to Zaragoza. It is splendid from the outside as well as the inside. You have to have eyes everywhere

Trip to Naples 2023. Impeccable organization. Perfectly supported by Rodrigo to and from Naples. The visits have been rightly commented on, the hotel very well located, the tempo, magnificent, without losing its way but without being overwhelming. Juan, Carlos, Rodrigo and the very efficient Palma, thank you very much for your dedication.

Magnifica Cattedrale con un fantastico museo di arazzi. La cappella San Bernardo, ricoperta di sculture e bassorilievi in alabastro, è indimenticabile . Peccato il solito, assurdo ed insopportabile divieto di fotografare.

Worth a visit and free if you are over 65

The ticket gived you access to the Cathedral and the Tower of the Church of the Pillar as well as the exhibitions of Lanterns a few streets away. Overall its worthwhile as we hadnt seen anything like the lanterns before and the view from the tower (lift only) is really interesting. The visit includes an audio guide that to my mind was a bit heavy on the architecture when i felt there were other interesting stories waiting to be told.

Não gostei de ter quê avaliar as catedrais.pois cada uma é uma coisa. Da catedral o preço 12 euros é muito caro. Depois o povo não têm cultura...lógico. Ela também poderia ir ao museus de tapetes. Não foi muitas escadas. Na verdade é bonita sim. Más nada de muito especial.

Un vero gioiello architettonico nel cuore di Saragozza. Meravigliosa illuminata la sera di fronte ai ponti sul fiume Ebro. All'interno si trova il Pilar, venerato da molti fedeli. La visita combinata costa 8 euro.

Cattedrale unico pregio
La cattedrale merita una visita. Maestosa, molto barocca, contiene opere pompose e magnifiche, dalle sculture, ai bassorilievi, agli altari, alle colonne, ai dipinti. La cattedrale e la piazza del Pilar meritano un giro a Saragozza, che altrimenti è una città senza grandi pregi.
