Isola dai caratteri forti bella e impegnativa se non prendi una bicicletta elettrica o se non sei particolarmente allenato. Noi abbiamo preso la bici elettrica e questo ci ha consentito di visitare tutte le spiagge. Le indicazioni sulla percorribilità delle stradine bianche non sempre precisa e aggiornata.

Amelia greeted us upon arrival with that infectious smile and willingness to make sure our visit was amazing. She took time to check on us throughout our stay and recommended some local favorites for a great dining experience. You have earned new lifetime customers. We will be back!

Bellissima isola delle Canarie raggiungibile in traghetto da Lanzarote. Certamente da visitare non certo in pieno agosto, il suo punto di forza ….. si gira a piedi, bici oppure con i fuoristrada dei locali.
Non mancano ristorantini e bar.
Ci sono alloggi privati ma non hotel.

No tiene nada. En esta época está muy tranquilo por que he leído que está muy masificado y tal y la verdad ahora no, hemos estado tranquis y había poca gente. Pero no tiene nada más que ir a cuatro playas o dar la vuelta a la isla en bici o andando, nu se de donde le viene la fama. Y el camino la recorrer es aburrido a más no poder, claro es una isla sin vegetación ni animales ni nada pero bueno, eso. Yo si hubiera sabido no habría venido. Si quieres playita y estar tranqui pues si, al menos en estas fechas. Pero no sé en q se puede diferenciar a quedarte en Lanzarote.

I would suggest to spend 1 or 2 days depending on the time you have in Lanzarote. The ferry leaves every half an hour from the port of Orzola and brings you directly to the island in 25 minutes. We rented bikes to visit the islands since we only had a day and I totally recommend that. You visit different spots on the island where you park your bike and walk a little bit to the beaches. You can only bathe in the beach in the other island settlement since the others are dangerous beaches. The route we did was around 15km in 3-4 hours including the stops. The nature is really amazing!

Beautiful place, it felt like going back in time because it was so authentically Spanish and such a simple and peaceful way of life for those 750 that live there.

The day trip to Graciosa had been a highlight of our two-weeks stay on Lanzarote. It was the only one of the inhabited islands of the Canaries I had not visited before. After arriving by ferry from Orzola at Graciosa's main settlement Caleta del Sebo my wife and me took off for a walk around the northern part of the island with several areas not allowing the access of cars or bicycles, especially near Playa de la Lambra.
From the hike we especially liked the coastal path in the beginning towards the only other settlement on Graciosa: Pedro Barba, a former fishing village, now a rather upscale holiday place with lovely whitewashed houses, with beautiful gardens and many palm trees. From here we continued to Playa de la Lambra, also called Playa del Ambar. On a sign it says that it is a dangerous beach, as is so often the case in the Canary islands with beaches facing north. In the sandy area more inland we were surprised to find thousands of empty white snail shells.
Interesting it is also to study the few halophytic plants growing here on mostly sandy soil like Moquin's Traganum, Sea kale (Crambe maritima) or Sea spurge (Euphorbia paralias). Bypassing the red Montaña Bermeja we arrived at Playa de las Conchas, said to be the Canary Islands most beautiful beach, to which I must agree. Golden sand for about 400m with the islet Montaña Clara out in the sea. Nobody was there, when we passed by. Here too there is a warning, thus not a place recommended for a swim.
The direct way back from Playa de las Conchas to Caleta del Sebo is a rather dull, straight track. At least one can avoid the bigger sandy road, with also car traffic, by using a smaller alternative track to the east of it - all straight though as well. At the end, before departure, we walked through the harbour village with its sand covered streets, with a few cafés and restaurants and enjoyed its very laid back atmosphere.

Isla Graciosa is a small island located next to the North of Lanzarote Island. In fact, you can arrive there only by boat from Órzola town in Lanzarote, the nearest town. I came here to do a one day excursion by bike and by walk and really it was wonderful. I could eat a sandwich in one of the bars (Mesón de la Tierra) in the main town called Caleta de Debò. Also, I could rent a bike in the same town (La Graciosa Desiré) and I began the excursion. i could see the most important places in the island like Playa de las Conchas (Conchas Beach), which is fantastic with amazing views of three other uninhabited islands and some different colors (red, yellow, brown, black) due to volcano stones. Also, I visited Montaña Bermeja (Red Mountain), from where I saw amazing views of the surroundings. The Arco de los Caletones, a natural rock formation, which seems and arch and from where you can see very nice views of the sea and the coast. Pedro Barba, the other smallest town in the island. Or Montaña Amarilla (Yellow Mountain) with his beach, which are also very beautiful. At the end, I could see from far La Francesa Beach, a long sand beach near Caleta de Sebo. Really, fantastic island and colors! Top, of you visit Lanzarote.

La Isla de La Graciosa, la octava isla canaria, te permite visitarla fácilmente con ferrys diarios desde el Puerto Órzola en Lanzarote. Tienes varias posibilidades para recorrerla: andándola, recorriéndola en bici o en 4x4.
Nosotros decidimos alquiler una bicicleta en las múltiples tiendas de alquiler que existen al lado del puerto e ir a la otra parte de la isla, a la Playa de las Conchas y Montaña Bermeja. Toda una experiencia, eso sí, si llevas tiempo sin usar una bicicleta entrena antes y si no alquila una bicicleta eléctrica que te permite más comodidad.
Luego teníamos la intención de ir andando a la Playa Francesa, pero ya se nos hizo tarde y dimos un paseo por la costa al sur.
Ideal para una jornada tranquila de deporte y relax
Nosotros decidimos alquiler una bicicleta en las múltiples tiendas de alquiler que existen al lado del puerto e ir a la otra parte de la isla, a la Playa de las Conchas y Montaña Bermeja. Hi, i don't remember the ferry tariffs, but is not expensive.
We rent a bike and i don't book a safari, but i think you can book from a office near the pier in Isla Graciosa or ask to your hotel. Nice trip around all the island roads, stop in Playa De Las Conchas.

los baños publicos del camping de la Graciosa siguen en mal estado o se han arreglado y limpiado recientemente? La ultima vez que fui estaban fatal y he visto en la web que otros tambien se han quejado. ¿Alguien sabria decirme como estan ahora?
Tambien necesito saber si siguen habiendo medusas como hace unos meses o ya se puede uno bañar tranquilamente.

Hola, podría dejar el coche aparcado en orzola 3 días? Dicen q hay parking pero me saldrá más caro que cojer un taxi desde el aeropuerto? Q es donde entregaría el coche ya que me quedo 4 días antes en lanzarote, nose si alkilarlo para todo el viaje

Sí, claro, podrías dejar el coche aparcado en Orzola, donde hay parking de pago. No sé cuánto te saldrá aparcar, porque fui a Graciosa un día solo, ida y vuelta. Alquilar coches en el aeropuerto de Arrecife es barato, pero tienes que hacerlo con antelación, por Internet. Alquilamos un coche por 50 euros (sin seguro Kasco) y pico por una semana… Saludos. L.
